You seem to be suggesting that sites that don't sell your data and thus wouldn't be subject to internet ID are 'dark web' ...that's not what the dark web is.

The internet generally isn't a good place for children. But I don't understand what exactly you're trying to say with this statement. To truly protect children from the dangers of the internet, internet IDs would be have to be required for everyone just to get online. I dunno how exactly that would happen, but I'm certain the bureaucracy of it would be prohibitively expensive and draconianly restrictive (and ultimately impossible since you can get online even using ham radio....). What is it exactly you are suggesting needs to happen to protect children from the internet? And keep in mind, the method to accessing the 'dark web' is to be told by someone what links to go to, as links not available via search engine is 'the dark web' and consequently there isn't any way to prevent children from being given a link to a 'dark web' site... all they have to do is get online.

Agree with everything but the highlighted in red: Melania used to be arm candy, and I doubt Trump will be able to bring her out, unless he pays her an enormous sum. My sense is that she is done with him. I wonder if someday there will be a book deal for Melania?
To the OP: Haley isn't the best politician I've seen, but, IMO, cares about the country WAY MORE than Trump is even capable of. I mean, who in their right mind would attack an opponent for their spouse being overseas busy DEFENDING OUR COUNTRY!
Maybe America will get lucky, Trump have some catastrophic failure that eliminates him, Biden bows out because Trump isn't in it, and we get to choose between Haley and someone like Klobuchar or Granholm. All girl tickets! Why not?

I too have heard a fair bit of that kind of talk. Can hardly believe that anyone would think that way in modern times. But it does suggest the powerful psychological hold that Trump has on some. It is like they would do anything for him. (and that ain't democratic or rational)
