If a right was a right then it would be against the law to take people's rights away. But, laws are laws. Laws tell us what we can do and what we can't do. And laws are made through democracy. Are you against democracy?

I do not feel comfortable with the law. I understand the problem and what they are trying to achieve I just think there is a slippery slope.

Perhaps they should create more legal remedies for people who feel they are being treated unfairly at work because of their race.

I do not like any law where the government tells people what they cannot say or must say. I prefer legal remedies to government mandating what an employer can teach or say.

 

A woman's right to bodily autonomy? Why only women? But vaccine mandates are ok?

By the way what is a woman? Biden's SC nomination cannot define what that is so how is she going to safeguard bodily autonomy for one?

 

If that was a right then it would be against the law to refuse that right and yet it is the laws in some states which seem to say otherwise, meaning it can't be a right if it is not against the law and is, in fact, the law.

If someone's rights are violated, that is against the law. So, if the law says that abortion is not legal after a certain time period, then that is the law. No rights are violated. This seems to be very hard for you to understand.

Is this the abortion forum? Clearly, any opinions opposed to pro-abortionists are not allowed in that forum. Is that why the pro-abortionists are trying to troll every thread into an abortion thread?

 

Why are you against democracy? Why is it you want to take democracy away? Republicans in red states used democracy and the democratic process to pass laws which, apparently, you don't like. Do you want to override democracy and take democracy away? Who's attacking democracy now?

I've taken so many of these I've lost count. None of what you guys are claiming it is even remotely in it. Most of them guide you to thinking about how others might interpret your words, and if there's any doubt, don't say it. It's common sense for the most part.

But of course, this isn't about common sense, it's about this sickness that has strangled the party of Lincoln to the point it is 100% unrecognizable.
