I'm guessing we travel in different circles, although I can appreciate your desire for common ground. I doubt my circles will join you and yours anytime soon. No offense, but finding common ground is not always easy. Again, best of luck on your venture. :)

LOL...you live in NY....why not protest by leaving or run for office. Marching on Wall Street may make you feel good, but it won't change anything. In fact, it may hurt more help. Remember the massive protests in DC against HCR? The MSM did their best to make it about them, even threw out the race card a few times. The fact they were there to oppose Obama's attempted take over of HC wasn't even on the media radar. If it grows, the same will probably be true of your protest.
The only way to change the system is from within. And even that is no guarantee. Look at how the Tea Party congress folks are being portrayed by EVERYONE on the LEFT.

    Anyway, good luck.

Work the local system, where candidates are born. Its amazingly easy to work into higher levels if you start from the bottom. A bit of time and cash will quickly move you up the ladder.

You are correct, they don't understand that big government facilitates the problem. Just as the righties don't understand that the cons support equally big government.

The problem is not the people protesting on Wall St, the problem is too few Americans facing the facts. Tea party members haven't shown up on Wall St because they have been swallowed up by the establishment republican party. The Ron Paul tea party would have been all about putting an end to the Wall St/DC collusion, but the name has been taken from them.

The war for independence wasn't even about TEA! It was about the Currency Act and the private cartel of bankers taking over the printers again! This is why I cannot get with you republicans who put down Ron Paul in favor of another pandering sellout.

It doesnt matter.. you cant change a system like the U.S government from within.. in order to climb in the ranks you must adapt to the system. By the time you get into a position to change anything you are so corrupt and owe so much to so many you are a shell of the person you started out as.

I'm convinced that most of our "leaders" receive an ultimatum. JFK wasn't killed by a no-name loser for no reason. It was far deeper than that.

At least a protest on Wall St would get more people thinking, and that is exactly why the mainstream media will not cover it.

From local to state to national candidates. Getting involved gives you access to the people running and how the system really works.

so that on a national level the candidate that supports the dissolution of the wall street/government collusion, by working up the ladder, would get the votes to do something about it ?

Kook response would be that (*)(*)(*)(*)ing moron Ron Paul has no foreign policy and no long-term military strategy. Sort of essential for a Superpower.

Yes he does. His plan is to stop spending trillions for foreign occupations that only benefit the top of the immoral elitists.

Maybe you should check out the statistics on how much we really spend on these "wars for democracy." We don't even have democracy in America! Why would we give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about sand people?

No he doesn't, he's an isolationist, that's the biggest problem with the whole libertarian ideology.

I've said numerous times I like a lot of his domestic ideas, but he is a moron when it comes to foreign policy and military strategy. I've been there, I've looked into the guy. He's not worthy of the presidency.

That's because you've fallen for the WMD propaganda and do not realize that these wars are not against terror, they are against human beings.

How about those WMDs? Granddaddy Bush was a fascist, just like his descendants, just like Obama.

On topic...(*)(*)(*)(*) wall st. Obama has the most pro-Wall St staff in the history of the United States. If you are pro-wall St, vote Obama.

It defends the fact that the wars are not anti-terrorism wars, and that Neo-Con Bush Jr. lied to you about WMDs to get you to support wars.

You said that Ron Paul has no plan for foreign policy, well, yes he does. It's called keeping out of disputes that are none of our business and protecting the homeland.
