You have a much more sinister view on this incident than me. I think POSSIBLY the cop got scared and didn't have confidence enough in his use of non-lethal weapons to control a non-lethal threat. However…if Wilson sustained a serious injury (we have no idea), and if Wilson knew Brown would attempt to disarm him again (we don't know), I don't criticize him for using deadly force.

 

At least half the restitution must come from the African countries that sold their people into slavery.

The first sentence of the NY Times article was the most chilling to me and the one most important fact that the lefties can not seem to get a grasp of or IMO, choose just to ignore. I can copy and paste it here as I am a subscriber to the New York Times.

"The police officer who fatally shot Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., two months ago has told investigators that he was pinned in his vehicle and in fear for his life as he struggled over his gun with Mr. Brown. . . Officer Wilson told the authorities that Mr. Brown had punched and scratched him repeatedly, leaving swelling on his face and cuts on his neck." (SCHMIDT, APUZZO and BOSMAN. NY Times, OCT. 17, 2014).


One eyewitness even claims that Brown was being PULLED into the car by the officer. Why would any cop want to pull trouble into the car? This does not qualify as a logical account.

He left with him after the crime knowing a crime had been committed and was in his company 10 minutes later.

And the fact he previously plead guilty to giving false statements, he has no credibility.

We don't know that he fired as he ran away, the first contemporaneous witness gives a different account, Brown turned and then rushed Wilson and then shots were fired. That corroborates Wilson statement and they were both given without knowledge of the other. It was reported at the time that the witness statements the police took, not the ones weeks later after the public narrative had been created and people were trying to get on camera, corroborated those accounts. Now the Washington Post reports that sources close to the investigation say the testimony corroborates those accounts.
