    I think it's disingenuous to say 'most' want the wall. While it's true that the popular vote doesn't win elections, the fact does remain that Secretary Clinton got more votes, and that a substantial number of Americans chose not to vote.(If Sanders won the primary, this entire country's looking very different.)

    I can approve of the strategy supported by others that calls for drones and further border patrol(the irony however being rich, is the democratic rebellion against ICE.). Furthermore, I do believe that E-Verify is a very big part of the equation, as well as punishing businesses for hiring illegals.

    There's a substantial national security interest(sex trafficking) in cutting down on illegal immigration. Trump thinks its about the wall, no, its about US Sovereignty.

    Except they did not do any such thing, did they? These are grown educated adults, who do not need lectures from Donald Trump's minions on what happens when Mexicans cross the border. People have done this for over a century. They do not need their time wasted by the same man who advocated the last meeting be televised for transparency, then closed this one.

    So far as I can tell, 'Trump derangement Syndrome' got rewarded with control of the House, an increase in governors mansions and state legislative bodies. You can laugh all you want. We will take the election results.

    That's not what I'm hearing; I've heard that all trump was interested in discussing was the wall rejecting democrats plan to reopen the govt't and ironing out differences between the two parties, claiming at this point he has to have the funding otherwise to reopen the gov't, he'd be facing complete public humiliation which he wants to avoid at this point.
