How old are these kids? We are are talking about school playground, right?

And of course such an experience in their young years is naturally going to make them skeptical.

 

I believe the victim was in 6th grade. You do realize that the young age of the assailants is simply more evidence that they were indoctrinated with this racist garbage?

 

Yes, based on the information i've seen, i think the kids are racist and guilty of a hate crime.

Of course, the things we experience impact how we see things, but we are individually responsible for what we choose to believe as adults. If, as adults, the kids who were attacked still hold prejudice against black people in general, they are racists, and the reason they are racist would be because they choose to be.

 

School playground bullying is ancient, and this comes across as FOX "shaking the jar". Does BLM shake the jar too? Of course they do. They key is to recognize when people are shaking your jar as opposed to reacting to it like the OP is doing.

 

Well, unfortunately I’m not Christian. And calling this scenario out for what it is should not be countered with a whataboutism. This is a racist and BLM provoked attack on whites.

 

It just so happens that whites are far and away the most racist (as proven by my above list of racist atrocities), so as the forums most notorious anti racist, my focus has to be on them, no?

What you are doing by using it to the entire BLM movement is an old trope, and i am just giving examples that show the problem with the point you are trying to make.

The kids who committed the assault are racists and likely committed a hate crime. I don't think we disagree about that.

It's not racism. We don't have the full story. It could be retaliation for racism by white kids

 

It's not systemic. It's not intrinsic to black folk though.

 

If not for whites slavery would still exist. The only countries that attacked slave ships, killed their own people to free slaves, push economic sanctions on countries that practiced slavery were all white nations. It also is true that only white nations stood up to Nazi racism as well. Whites have been the group freeing slaves.

If you say someone taught them, then so be it. I have no way of knowing but maybe you do. Some kid slinging the 'N' word hasn't necessarily been taught to say so, but just picked it up from somewhere. As I said I think the jar-shakers are shaking the jar and based on your reaction, they are getting the results they hoped for.

Based on the information we have, if feel comfortable assuming it was racism, at least enough for the purpose online discussion. If new information comes out that changes the context, i happily change my conclusion. I don't have any reason to assume that information has been intentionally withheld. This isn't the police trying to cover up for themselves. If the group of white kids provoked this, the school wouldn't have any reason to keep that information from us.

Maybe there is already information that suggests it was provoked, if you know of any, please link it in here. I'll admit haven't spent much time researching what happened.

 

"Whites" also are the reason for Jim Crow laws. My great great grandfather had a meaningful advantage as a white man during this time. Just like his Great great grandfather had a significant advantage as a white man during his time.

Every white man that came before me passed a little bit of this advantage along to me. I have it with me now, i couldn't give it away if I wanted to, and i can't even measure it, but it's there, and it doesn't really belong to me.

This is not typical schoolyard bullying. These are children perpetuating assaults based on racial hatred they have been indoctrinated to believe

However there is no evidence of that. But there is evidence of black kids forcing people to say Black Lives Matter.

 

That’s not true if it were I wouldn’t have had a first rented room in a basement covered by blankets as walls and doors. I earned my way up from there to own 2 houses at one time and am down to 1 from my own mistakes. Opportunity is there for whoever wants to grab it. No one is held back by race and if I were advantaged by race I would have started out a lot easier
