Ohio police probe report Black students assaulted, forced White students to say 'Black Lives Matter'

No it’s not. I earned my way. Not a dang thing was given to me nor was my race ever acknowledged at any point of my career as superior or the reasoning for promotion.

My life was easier because i was born white than it would have been if I had been born black. So was yours.

The one who is exposing racism here is not the victims.... But there is certainly some racism being exposed.

If you are saying the kids are racist because they wouldn't give in to bullies demanding they say something, then you aren't helping fight racism, you are making it worse.

This incident appears to be a new game being played in Ohio elementary schools. Maybe we should understand the contexts and why some black school children feel it necessary to confront white ppl about white culture in Ohio (and across America as a whole).

Instead of trying to paint the black community as violent at every turn, perhaps we should try to understand the situation better.

The naysayers appear to be of the belief that it is genetics and as such will never change, black folk will always be aggressive. This is the rhetoric of the slave master on the plantation that deemed it necessary to "break" black folk because they are prone to violence due to their DNA.

This is essentially the argument that these ppl believe once you take it the full course.

 

Clearly it's utter white supremacist garbage rhetoric and we should all confront these types of attitudes in a civil manner since this board is heavily moderated

Yea, i never said they were. I don't agree with his assessment. I was responding to what he had said.

The kids have no right to be interrogating anyone.

Being anti-racist requires one to acknowledge racism no matter who is perpetrating it.

Turning a blind eye to racism, puts one on the opposite side of the fight from the anti-racists.

 

If you have to preface your statement with "maybe" it's not based on anything but your own presuppositions.

If there is evidence that these kids were provoked, then please let me know.

Right now, absent evidence of provocation, we can only assume it was unprovoked.

If evidence comes out to the contrary, i have no problem changing my opinion, but I'm not going to excuse an apparent hate crime because the race of the aggressors doesn't fit the expected profile. To do that would be promoting racism, not fighting it.

 

African Americans do not hold any power or influence in ANY country. We are the oppressed and the minority in every corner of the world, therefore it's impossible for us to be racist.
