    Not at 8 months. My line in the sand, that I'll say upfront is negotiable if someone with more medical knowledge than I have begs to differ, is when measurable brainwaves are present, which is about 22 weeks. Add in a 2-week buffer for early developers, and call it good at 20-weeks for most circumstances. That's more than long enough to figure out you're preggo and decide what to do about it.

    Well 20 weeks is better than states that want to go full term. Actually I think 6 weeks is more than enough time to figure out you're "preggo" and decide what to do about it.
