So because it is easy no one should have an issue?

    That is just asinine.

Yep, and if I walked into hippy stores they had "(*)(*)(*)(*) bush" pins.

What is more fun is being in a gun store, days after the election, listening to the right wingers wine about how bad the "communists" are, how "Obama is a socialist", blah blah blah, while thinking "Hmmmmmmm.... and I voted socialist.".lol

I don't typically talk politics in gun stores, being that I am polar opposite from conservatives on 99% of the issues.

That is interesting. I choose to not arm myself with an assault weapon, I choose to arm myself with a semi-auto rifle. Under the current proposed legislation in the Senate, my weapon of choice is now going to be banned. There is nothing about it that makes it an assault weapon unless I go and assault someone with that weapon. A rock on the ground becomes an assault weapon as soon as you assault someone with it. Assault weapon is a made up term. An assault rifle has a very specific meaning and it has been banned since 1986.

Why do I choose this weapon? I have probably put more rounds downrange with that one specific weapon than you have in your entire life. I am more intimately familiar with that particular weapon system than most gun enthusiasts are with their favorite weapon. So, with Feinstein's revamped legislation, I would now be forced to choose a less desirable weapon, compromising my overall safety.

Conjecture only. Where is the scientific or unscientific or peer reviewed or non peer reviewed study?

If the ban had been effective it would have been renewed! It was ineffective.
It cost the companies no money to make weapons ban approved either.
