I agree with some of your post, but as recently seen, Trump's ardent supporters booed him when he advised that they should have the vaccine. It's the drip feed of Trump's negativity against measures advised to reduce transmission that caused this distrust of the vaccine which is put in the same box as masks and lock downs

The percentage of current hospitalizations who are 40 or under is dramatically higher than it was with previous strains. I am aware of a number of deaths of otherwise healthy people under 40 just here in Australia, and we have only had 1000 deaths.

But hey, if you want to side wiht the guy who accuses a poster of lying and then says that if the people died it was his fault then have at it.

I find this completely unbelievable. I don't know of ANY deaths and my state has supposedly had over 4x the number of deaths as your entire country.

But hey if you want to keep making claims that don't jive with the numbers, go right ahead. Don't expect me to take you seriously though.

Are you letting co-morbid people go, too?

After Covid goes away and things settle down there is going to be a butt load of law suits. Side effects of forced vaccinations, discrimination by forcing people to divulge personal info: “are you vaccinated?”; “Are you straight?”.
I get that you are in an ethical jam, but “Sometimes it sucks to be me, and sometimes it sucks to be you.”

It was ruled by a court in Florida that they can (as I interpret it). However, between a lawsuit for asking for proof of vaccination (or requiring masks and negative Covid tests under certain circumstances before that), and a lawsuit by a client because one of my technicians infected them or their employees, I made a conscious decision a long time ago that I prefer the former. And all the people who work for me know that.

I find it very significant that you identify whether somebody is straight or not with whether they carry a potentially deadly disease or not.

300 million population, 600 thousand COVID deaths. Yeah I'd say that it's statistically unlikely that someone would know multiple people who died from COVID.

And did you refuse to hire co-morbid prior to Florida allowing employers to require vaccinations? Yesterday’s fat guy is todays co-morbid. You are lucky you aren’t in California when he becomes a fat guy again.

So let's add statistics to the huge list of topics that you are clueless about.

BTW, just to make your head spin... the second closest person who died from Covid was somebody from another country. So that's not just a 300 million population. It's the population of the whole world.

And that was the Alpha Strain. Delta is hitting younger and healthier people hard.

You don't buy what? That people are dying of this virus?

Do you really need it to take someone you know or put you in a hospital before you'll take it seriously?

Denial is entirely driven by fear. It may not be fear of the actual threat itself - quite often it's fear of having to adjust or change in response to the threat. People with a delicately balanced existance, or those who've lost agility over the years, find the idea of change very frightening.

Because of expected post Covid discrimination lawsuits, caused by over reaching employers forcing people to divulge personal information in order to be employed.

It's true. Three quarters of our current hospitalisations are in people under 60. And half of them are under 40 - we even have people in their 20's in ICU. And most don't have co-morbidities.

If you thought that it was statistically likely to know someone who has died from COVID in a country of 300 million people, you would have already said so.

I should have specified, Americans who know other people in America who have died.

What are the odds that both husband and wife died? Amazing if you run the math.... truly unbelievable odds.

Whether or not they are likely to infect a client with a deadly disease is not "personal information"

Give it up! Asking an employee for proof of vaccination violates NO law. You think I didn't check? Read my sig!!!

BTW, in case this is what is bothering you, know that neither obesity nor homosexuality are transmissible diseases. Covid is, though.

I don't know what their reasons are, but I wish them the best and hope they don't have to deal with any of it.
