While it is true that God's holy character demands that sin be punished, His grace and mercy remain extended to those who are willing to repent and be saved. The Great Flood punishment provides us with a reminder that while our God is gracious and merciful, He is also a God of holiness and wrath.

Yeah you read it but it appears from your response you're still not quite understanding it. There is no such thing as "righteous sinners" I mean you can't be lumping those words together and I'm sure you know the reason.

So I went back to my post that you read and I discovered one error I made that needs to be corrected. Let me state the incorrect statement I made then show you the correction. I don't know perhaps this one mistake I made through you off or something but anyway below is the incorrect statement.

"Now in this context just because it is describing Noah as being a righteous man it is implying that Noah was without sin. It is just saying that he was basically a righteous person."

The correction to this statement is: "Now in this context just because it is describing Noah as being a righteous man it is not implying that Noah was without sin. It is just saying that he was basically a righteous person."

So anyway I suggest you go back again and read my post over with the corrected statement in it. See if you come away comprehending it much better. But if you don't want to...oh well I tried.

The post was on pg. 9 #82 of Part 5.

I'm sorry WanRen, I don't think you understand.

When someone says "Ape" they refer to a category of scientific classification called a Family. It is just one part of a whole classification system.

Biological classification L Pengo vflip [Public domain], by Peter Halasz. (User:pengo) (Own work), from Wikimedia Commons

Ape isn't an animal but a group of creatures, including humans. No creature is specifically called an Ape, and the reason the term Ape is used here acceptably is because it is a common name (much easier to remember than Hominoidea), so if you type in "Ape" into image search and you see pictures of Gorillas and Chimpanzees that isn't the full story.

In the scientific classification called Family an Ape is a group of creatures, these hominoid creatures (similar to the term humanoid, you may have heard, but a more generalized term) have specific traits and features that biologists have deemed important to be included in this Family, some of which include:

    • Teeth pattern (this family has 5 cusps on their molars),
    • Tailless,
    • Can balance themselves in a bipedal pose (stand on 2 legs),
    • Larger and more intelligent than monkeys.

No, I had no idea what you're doing this month. I've never heard of such a thing before today. :???:

It sounds like a very bold and extremely controversial form of activism, one with the constant danger of coming under attack from Christian Fundamentalists.

I thought I was left leaning, but this is far out dyed in the wool Leftist! Now I see why many people on the forums keep calling you Liberal even though you self confess yourself to be Conservative.

I would never be so bold to discuss birth control or evolution outside Christian churches and schools, pardon me, but if you had tried this in some of the places I've seen growing up in extremist Christianity you'd be lucky if you were just shown the door or had the police called on you. There's a reason that large, xenophobic, religious groups are raised to be anti-government, and not to call the cops ever... It never came to that, but still... shudder!

But I do highly admire that you hand out Sex Offender Lists. What a MUST! I wish more people were like you. Everyone needs this information. A lot of repeat child abuse tragedies might have been prevented over the years if warnings like this had been made public ahead of time.

Why concern yourself over dogs? You should be concerned with yourself, by asking: will I get to heaven? From the looks of how you've been expressing yourself on this thread, I'm sure you know the answer and so why would you want to know if dogs get into heaven?

So you don't believe Almighty God had the right to punish His sinful creations in a world gone wrong? In my view He had all the justification besides who are we mortals to question anything God does?

For one thing we believers know that anything He does is always righteous, He can never do anything wrong. It is we humans who are prone to doing things wrong.

Your statement "God killed off humanity because he thought mankind was evil" is not a valid statement when you used the word "thought"

No, no. The correct statement would be, "God killed off humanity because He knew all of mankind was evil." This would be a valid statement. Remember God is omniscient.

To answer your question, yes we are less evil now than people were before the flood. And yes those people were indeed very bad people and I mean very bad people.

And no the story is not nonsense, well I guess for an atheist it is nonsense.

It's because satan is keeping you in the dark, he wants as much company in hell as he can get...that murderous evil corrupted bad angel!...and I mean bad angel!

A lot of people know what God thinks.

As it says in Job 11:5 (NLT) =
"If only God would speak; if only he would tell you what he thinks!"

    Isaiah 40:17 (CEV) =
"God thinks of the nations as far less than nothing."

    Daniel 9:23 (CEV) =
"God thinks highly of you, and at the very moment you started praying, I was sent to give you the answer."

    2 Corinthians 2:15-16 (CEV) =
"In fact, God thinks of us as a perfume that brings Christ to everyone. For people who are being saved, this perfume has a sweet smell and leads them to a better life. But for people who are lost, it has a bad smell and leads them to a horrible death. No one really has what it takes to do this work."

James 1:9 (CEV) ="Any of God's people who are poor should be glad that he thinks so highly of them."

    Tibet 4:21 (CEB) =
"So don’t worry, my child, about the fact that we have been poor. You have many good things if you fear God, flee from every kind of sin, and do what the Lord your God thinks is right.”

lol thanks for another non answer and illustrating to the readers that people of your faith cannot answer a question so simple as "can dogs get into heaven" Another victory for me. For the other readers......Mit hasnt answered a single question. Read my question then see if it deserves a vitriolic response. If there are no dogs in heaven and its filled with people like Mit..all angry dudes who get mad if you ask them a question
then dont wanna be there anyways. To summarize Mits faith.....dogs cant get into heaven..he cant even admit it....

child ass rapers get in no problem......he cant admit that either. I have utterly crushed this thread with remedial questions

Maybe not because by that time man would have already master the art of cloning, gene splicing, or the art or creation then you can say with factual facts that apes evolved from humans not humans evolved from apes because as you can see apes lack the intelligence to evolved into humans. Natural humans will become a minority and probably if all goes badly again just like before when bad angels took wives of daughters of men and created monsters and apes then God will intervene once again and that is the final judgement.

That is the modern redefinition of the suppossed scientific term APE the term APE that early colonial white Europeans introduced which they actualy meant APE that humans actually evolved from APES such as monkeys, gorillas, chimps etc. That is why APE has been redefine as a classification of certain groups of animals that included humans separate from actual apes such as gorillas, chimps, baboons etc.

It is a common name or term that originally meant actual APES such as monkeys that is why many universities specially Christian universities are educating its students the proper term which is Hominoidea and base on that this mean that humans did not evolved from apes nor apes from humans.

And humans are on a list of its own.

You have been arguing about this stupid distinction for too long now. You don't want humans to be called apes because you think that the word ape should apply to other creatures, but not humans for some reason. Fine, whatever. Call us frickin' Divine Beings for all I care. The fact of the matter is that we are related to other Apes and we are related to the rest of the life on this planet through evolutionary progress.

Yes, they used the term Ape differently in the past. But, if I remember correctly, they also classified the world into Animal, Vegetable, and Mineral. That isn't the classification system we use today. So we should just ignore the difference between the early use of the term Ape and how it's used here, now.

Regardless of whether you view Humans as our own self contained special being separate from other animals, or not, Humans also need to be categorized into the classification system so we can compare Humans, human-like animals, and other non-related creatures among each other.

A lot of things have a common name and a scientific name, like Water (common name) and H 2 O (chemical representation). We borrow words from earlier times to use now. Shuttle for example wasn't always a space vehicle. A Shuttle used to be part of a Loom which fed thread across and between the interlocking strands between passes.

Funny how you have to change what the literal word of God is so you can still think you are right. LOL. Bearing that false witness again, huh buddy.

What are the symptoms of bipolar disorder?

People with bipolar disorder experience unusually intense emotional states that occur in distinct periods called "mood episodes." An overly joyful or overexcited state is called a manic episode, and an extremely sad or hopeless state is called a depressive episode. Sometimes, a mood episode includes symptoms of both mania and depression. This is called a mixed state. People with bipolar disorder also may be explosive and irritable during a mood episode.

What good would statistical analysis do? You will only deny it...so what's the sense? Besides I have something better than stats, I have the Word of God and since I have absolute faith in Him then His Word is good enough for me.

Perhaps if they had a full brain then it wouldn't be nonsense. You could have pinpointed the problem. All non believers have half a brain that's the reason anything to do with the Bible is nonsense to them.
