The Genesis gave scientist a starting point in the origin of the universe and life especially intelligent creature called humans.
The Exodus marked the beginning of the creation of the nation of Israel.

ANY creation story from ANY religion would give humans a "starting pont". Doesn't make them not myths.

There is no evidence to suggest any such exodus took place at any point in history.

    - - - Updated - - -

Uh... Are you claiming that somebody, with malicious intent, and not followers of Jesus, introduced he non-canonical Gospels?

Every religion has a creation story of their own and in the end Christianity will stand out as none mythical because of actual supported historicity and as the architect of modern science and medicine leading the way to discover the origin of the universe and creation.

The evidence of the Exodus was as real as Egypt, Amorites, Canaanites, Assyrians, Babylonian, Persia, Philistine, Greece, Carthage and Rome but most of all the Hebrews and the Kingdom of Israel.

For centuries the first thing they did to try to destroy truth was by executing the Son of God they failed. Then they try to introduced inconsistent stories and false stories about Jesus they failed again, then they introduce an entire different parallel Biblical story with a different Jesus and different Abraham and they have failed too then finally they try to use violence sentencing to death anyone who worship Jesus Christ that too they failed. They failed because Christians have been very CONSISTENT maintaining, preserving and sharing the truth for thousands of years while the other side have been very INCONSISTENT and always full of CONTRADICTION on history, science and philosophy.
The Pharisees desperate to cling to their power rejected Jesus Christ they had him executed and tried to bury all evidences about him they failed because of the Resurrection. With the execution failure they started to discredit Jesus, his Apostles and his followers especially the Jews who worship, accepted and recognize Jesus Christ is the Son of God the fulfillment of the OT prophecy. Eventually many individuals will start to create their own Jesus stories some will introduced non-Biblical manuscript forged manuscript, self proclaim prophets, the worse was the use of violence and Islam founded by Mohammed would lead the way in suppressing the Truth that is the Bible. That is why Islam have a different Jesus story they don't even call him Christ, they don't know who the Twelve Apostle are and they claim that Jesus made public claim that he is not God and yet the Pharisees executed a man for blasphemy that Mohammed claim was actually Judas or a look a like of Jesus. If Muslim Jesus did proclaim he is not God then why did the Pharisees executed a man for blasphemy? Why didn't Jesus of Islam told the Pharisees he is not God when in fact the Pharisees were asking the man whom they thought was Jesus is he the Son of God? Then there is the contradiction between the Koran and Hadith that Muslims seems to ignore.

Name one discovery that came from a biblical teaching. You can say that the Bible has been an inspiration for scientists to uncover the truths of what they consider to be "God's creation", but that's not the same thing as saying the Bible DIRECTLY inspired a discovery.

Oh yeah, where is it at?

You barely answered my question in that incoherent rambling. In your previous post you claimed that "they", whoever "they" is, introduced inconsistent and false stories. Who is they?

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. There are several things on which they disagree with each other. WarRen has been shown but refuses to accept them.

So are you saying that the story about God instructing the Israelites slaughter children and babies true ?

Darn, I was really hoping that God was not a killer of innocent babies.

You figure truth is anything you can make up in the moment. That much you have proven time and time again.

Bible copyists throughout the years, and even to this day, have been very consistent in editing, interpolating and intentionally mistranslating the the Bible to try and make it conform with the dogma of the day.

The Bible indeed was an inspiration for scientist it gave them the initial evidences and the jump start to develop modern science in their search for answers to the origin of the universe but most of all life and humans. One discovery that came from the Bible is the existence of Sodom and Gomorrah.

We know Egypt, Amorites, Canaanites, Assyrians, Babylonian, Persia, Philistine, Greece, Carthage and Rome but most of all the Hebrews and the Kingdom of Israel all existed long before modern historians wrote about them. Example what used to be known as Babylonian is now Iraq, what was Assyria is now refer as Syria although in reality Assyria is distinct and different from modern Syria, Persia is now known as Iran.

Why didn't Jesus of Islam told the Pharisees he is not God when in fact the Pharisees were asking the man whom they thought was Jesus is he the Son of God? Then there is the contradiction between the Koran and Hadith that Muslims seems to ignore.

By THEY it is clear I am referring to the Pharisees, the heretics, the Mohammedans, the anti Christ, the Atheist all of these groups have created their own stories that design to discredit the true history of the Bible but most of all to undermine, discredit and destroy Jesus Christ.

Good question. The Biblical history about God instructing the Israelite to destroy the Amalekites reveal the historicity of the existence of the Amalekites for those who claim that the Bible is but a myth it shouldn't bother them then if God had instructed the destruction of the Amalekites? But because of the Bible we know that the Amalekites are real and is part of history not myth but factual history. This story reveal to us the struggle of the Hebrews, the cruelty of their enemies such as the Amalekites that the Hebrews had to live in fear of extermination, slavery and annihilation. People have always ask if God knows everything why didn't he stop evil? And yet when God do act some people will ask why did God acted or ordered the destruction of a group of evil people? Strangely enough the same people who ask and treat God negatively have would not ask why Stalin ordered the extermination of millions of innocent people or why the Pharaoh or Mohammed would wiped out an entire village just because they are Jews?

Simply put it. God knew who the Amalekites were and how brutal, cruel they were they were IMO "children or chosen people of Satan" just like the Hebrews are the chosen people of God that is why amongst all the tribes and nations that existed during that ancient time it wasn't the Egyptians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Ishmaelites, or Philistines that God would ordered the Hebrews to destroy but it would be the Amalekites.

There were no innocent people among the Amalekites. The Amalekites recognize no such thing as innocent babies.

Truth is anything that conforms with the facts of reality. The Bible conforms with facts and reality.

The only dogma is the preservation of truth through science, philosophy, medicine and discoveries.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodom_and_Gomorrah#Modern_Sodom

"The historicity of Sodom and Gomorrah is still in dispute by archaeologists, as little archaeological evidence has ever been found in the regions where they were supposedly situated. There are some other stories and historical names which bear a resemblance to the Biblical stories of Sodom and Gomorrah, and some possible natural explanations for the events described have been proposed, but no widely accepted or strongly verified sites for the cities have been found."

Even if these cities existed, that has nothing to do with science... it has to do with history. I want a scientific discovery. Myths can include real places in them, you know, just like cartoons. That doesn't mean the myths or cartoons actually happened.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here. Just because the Bible mentions real nations doesn't mean that the stories in the Bible took place.

That doesn't answer my question. In the slightest. Do you know what my question was?

THIS. This claim right here is what I'm asking about! What stories are you claiming they made up?

The children and babies under the rule of King Sihon were not Amalekites and there was no mention of them being evil. This has been pointed out to you numerous times but you ignore these facts in order to justify baby killing in the name of God.

This is no different than the philosophy of ISIS. The also believe that the people they kill have gone down the path of Satan.

Babies are not capable of making a choice for themselves and so are innocent. Your claim that babies are guilty of being evil is without support or merit.

Mitt and Incorp; Do you agree with WanRen's position that Babies should be randomly in the name of God on the basis that they are children of Satan?

What does what the Bible says have to do with you making things up ? You are dodging my post "sneaky fellow".

You have your own made up version of what the Bible says and when people point out that your claims do not conform to what the Bible says you ignore those claims and make up more fantasy stories.

Case in point is your ignoring the fact that God was responsible for killing children and babies who were neither said to be evil nor were they Amalekites.

Wrong again. I do not think you understand what dogma is. Dogma is a set of principles set down by some Authority figure as incontrovertibly true.

You are claiming that Islamic, Hindoo, and the Dogma of Charles Manson is the preservation of truth and I do not think that was your intention.

The Bible gave scientist and archaeologist evidences as to where to search for Sodom and Gomorrah. The history will lead to science as to how the two cities disappeared.

Long before modern historians learn about the existence of those civilization ancient Biblical manuscript have already noted them down to become part of modern geographical nations.

Yes I know what your question is and the answer is that certain individuals launch a massive campaign to discredit Christ.

Everything from Jesus Christ is not the Son of God, not real, that a look alike died on the cross, etc. etc.

Are you saying that the Amalekites were all adults? There is no mention that they are very nice and good either. There is no justification to kill innocent babies that was why the Amalekites constant attacks and threat to exterminate the Hebrews was unacceptable.

Thanks for mentioning ISIS not just ISIS but other extremist like Boko Haram, Taliban, Al Qaeda, Hamas, Nazi, are all can be compare to what the Amalekites were.

I agree babies are innocent and must be protected at all cost especially from people like the Amalekites or ISIS.
You made the claim that babies are guilty not I.

    - - - Updated - - -

The Book simply point out the history the events during that time.

Remember it is you who claim that babies should be randomly in the name of God on the basis that they are children of Satan not I.

Biblical history is very clear that is why there is no way for you to make things up. Your post have been answered directly you just don't like the answer that God is on the side of good.

Do you believe God created the universe?
Do you believe Adam and Eve are our first ancestors? As according to the Bible?
If you do believe then why made false claims about God or about the Bible?
If you don't believe then your claims are based on made up versions?

The Amalekites were responsible for their children not God.
People criticized God for not acting against evil and when He does act people also criticized Him.

Good question. The Biblical history about God instructing the Israelite to destroy the Amalekites reveal the historicity of the existence of the Amalekites for those who claim that the Bible is but a myth it shouldn't bother them then if God had instructed the destruction of the Amalekites? There is zero historical or archeological evidence that the Amalekites or any of the Canaanites were brutal or wicked people.. There is considerable indication that the Hebrew wanted their land and so demonized them to justify trying to kill them all.

I made it clear that I was not talking about the Amalekites. Do you have a reading disability ?

Not sure about the Amalekites and you have provided nothing to back up your claim. It is certainly true that the Israelites were like ISIS

What is also true is your ideology (justifying killing babies in the name of God) is the same as the Islamic extremists.

I did not ever claim that babies are guilty. You are making things up again.

It is you that keeps trying to justify the killing of babies by the Israelites... Not I.

I have never said this. Show where I have said this. Your making things up again.

Responsible authorities will always have dogma based on truth, human rights, justice and fairness. Example: Constitution of a nation is consider political dogma.

Just like Stalin, Hitler or Mohammed have made dogmatic claims that for them their dogma are not criminal but for normal people their dogmas are not only criminal but insane. Charles Manson was a criminal and like all other criminals they have their own set of dogma that the church and decent secular government does not support or recognize because it is based on evil. Islamic dogma is suffering because of too much Islamist extremism enforcing the criminal aspects of Islam.

I made it clear from the beginning that I was not referring to the Amalekites. Don't blame me for your reading deficiencies.

Your so deep in denial that you can not think straight anymore and can not stay on point.

It is not my fault that God commanded the Israelites to kill children and babies.

Now you say "God was acting against evil". What evil had the children and babies of King Sihon's nation done ?

Why did God mess with the mind of the King and get the Israelites to murder all the children and babies of the towns in Sihon's kingdom ?

There are over whelming historical evidences that ancient tribes in the Middle East that included the Amalekites have waged brutal and savaged wars against other tribes especially their focus against the Hebrews. Historical records shows that the Hebrews had to fight for their lands against several tribes in order to survive and to preserved their nation.

Sodom is going to be rebuilt to all of its former glory and splendor. Once that happens it will be a breeze to locate Gomorrah.
