Cupid - watch the video in the link provided. Wiki is correct in that Eusebius is reported to have written that story. What is also true is that in his original story recording the events of the battle, there was no such vision.

What is also a fact is that is that Constantine did not seem to know anything about that story as in the massive arch commemorating that victory there is no mention any such vision and no Christian symbolism.

What we do find is pagan symbolism so even if Constantine did have some vision or dream he certainly did not attribute it to the Christian God.

They were the same words,... again...

    Exodus 34
1 And the Lord said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.

    ?
How do you explain the coins Constantine produced???

    Dictionary:

    Labarum

a banner or flag bearing symbolic motifs.
    historically:
Constantine the Great's imperial standard, which bore Christian symbolic imagery fused with the military symbols of the Roman Empire.

Exactly Inc! You simply called it a rationalization, I don't see where you called his rationalization incorrect and so it's obvious he misinterpreted what you had said.

Yeah, you know who else can atheists worship but themselves since they don't believe in the existence of the Creator, Almighty God who is the Superior Being above all!

In their delusional minds they are their own god. But so much for being their own god when they have no control over the pending death they are going to face, I mean if they were a god then they shouldn't die but they are like everyone else, therefore their delusional belief that they are their own god is false, a myth. But they still go on worshipping themselves as their own god...such nonsense!

How does the fact that Constantine produced some coins with Christian symbolism reflect in any way on the topic at hand.

Watch the video. Constantine was trying to unite a divided nation. There were many Christians in the army and many from other religions and he wanted everything unified.

This is one of the reasons why he turned Jesus in to God at the council of Nicene so that the disputes among the divinity of Christ and the monotheistic nature of the Christian religion could be resolved once and for all.

After Christianity rose to prominence as an official state religion under Constantine it makes complete sense that coinage would reflect this. As did many of the Emperors before Constantine he declared himself "Pontifex Maximus" both emperor and the one appointed by God to rule and one who spoke for God.

There are depictions of Constantine as this God. Watch the video and all your questions will be answered.

    Hey,..
Tell the Rabbi that, not me.

The word Kabbalah means "tradition," and the Rabbi still honor tat today even if they are restrained from an open Kabbalah, one they never ever attack.

The Seven Miracles of Elijah are listed in the Encyclopedia Judaica, so the Jews MUST at least look at them, and see that Jesus did them all.

Then, add on the two dozen almost exact copies of what 1Kings 18 says about Elijah's experience, and the one experienced by Christ, and we have both scripture and Bible to use there.

    LOL
    Constantine was the Emperor.

He ORDERED the coins made with the Cross because he SAW the "sign of the son of man in the clouds."
Why else would he do that??

Exactly Inc! I wholeheartedly agree with your post. I haven't seen anything by you that GraspingforPeace is accusing you of doing, furthermore it was him changing the subject from 'rationalization' to 'incorrect rationalization".

That is just your opinion. In my humble opinion he has grasp of the English language and I'm sure he agrees with my opinion rather than your opinion.

He, like myself, is just answering questions regarding the Christian faith besides defending the faith from the non-believers and so what do you mean help anyone? We can't help anyone who refuses to believe in the Christian faith, if you don't want to believe then so be it.

That's a cynical remark. Laugh all you want now, someday that laughter will be gone forever for all the non-believers.

Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ said, "Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!"---Matthew 13:40-43 NLT

If you'll look at the 10 Commandments you'll find 4 for God, love God and 6 for loving your
neighbor. However, we aren't under the law so the Sabbath law is no longer in
    effect.

    The 10 commandments aren't doctrine.

I can affirmatively tell you right now, GraspingforPeace will not be able to irrefutably prove that the quest for information from the Holy Spirit is "ludicrous".

All he can do is expressed an opinion or his belief but that will not suffice as to irrefutably prove anything.

Yes I do. You obviously don't so I'll help you with BY DEFINITION part.

    From the Free Dictionary.
A principle or body of principles presented for acceptance or belief, as by a religious, political, scientific,
    or philosophic group; dogma.

The 10 Commandments aren't Christian Doctrine.

Apparently you only googled and didn't read the scripture. They weren't commandments.
This passage isn't a list of commandments. It's a sermon on treating others, in other
words, love your neighbor as yourself.

Of course science today is 'modern' science. But much of it had its beginnings in the ancient world. You really are ignorant.

My point being The Passover was the Passover. Jesus instituted the Lord's Supper,
not a commandment or law, when he broke the bread and said this is my body take
and eat. This isn't in the Passover service. The taking of the cup is the same way.

The Lord's Supper and the Passover aren't the same nor are they connected as
trevor is trying to make them to be.

Exactly! Good point Inc. If one wants to make a claim of what another posted it is his responsibility to bring up that post/quote.

The way I do it is to use the quote function to bring up that person's post/quote. When you do that, there is no way a person can deny he made that quote. If he does then he is either a liar or can't remember anything that comes out of his mouth...lol

If I was a parrot perched on Inc's shoulder then I would be mimicking his exact words because that is what parrots do but since I'm expressing my own words then it can't be that I'm a parrot perched on Inc's shoulder...lol

No they weren't. It was only changed once according to the Bible. In Egypt. Joseph was substituted for 2 of his young sons. That made 13 tribes. This was always the case. The only reason they are called the 12 tribes is because 12 were given land, and the Levi's were given cities in each tribal area, where they could live and give religious advice.
We aren't told why Joseph was substituted but we can assume it was that to all intents and purposes Joseph had become Egyptian. He had married the daughter of an Egyptian priest of an Egyptian god.
