Nope, he spoke directly to me. It was a very spiritual experience. I was completely in awe of his presence.

Your heart is a pump. The idea of anything being heart knowledge was when man believed the heart was the organ that controlled the body. God began in your brain.

That's why you never get anywhere with this. God began in my heart. Not the one that pumps, but the one central to my body, spirit and life. It's where one experiences gratitude, sorrow, joy, hope, faith, love and grief. It is where oaths and bonds are made. The mind experiences nothing that makes us human. It is no more our heart than it is our tongue. If you hadn't hardened yours, you would know this. Yours has become the stone on which the sowers seeds could find no purchase or soil in which to grow.

Are you telling me that my spiritual experience wasn’t real?

Are you suggesting that what you said is true? You don't even believe there is a God.

So, for some reason you can reject my spiritual experience but I can’t reject yours?

The trouble with religion is that it hides behind the unseen 'spiritual' body. It can be claimed but not proven.

And, according to adherents, it can't be questioned.

A spiritual matter can only be properly realized thru spiritual means, to which science is both deaf and blind. So it requires a temporary suspension of opinion, and a small bit of faith, courage, and prayer in seeking.

Didn't realize you had been hired to the position of "The One Who Gets To Decide What a Spiritual Experience Is"
Like I said, for the religious adherent, a spiritual experience can't be questioned.
Yet, for some reason, here you are questioning my spiritual experience.

Reality doesn't go away when you pray. It simply makes room for it such that prayer becomes a part of reality. Similarly, you don't have to be a generational farmer to plant a seed. Anybody can do it if they want.

Your mockery of my testimony isn't a spiritual experience. But hey, it's your reputation in the spotlight.

Neither does it when you dream. Only when you wake up. For some the dream never goes away, and voices affect their lives.

How do you tell the difference between the bolded and self delusion? Is the bolded not exactly what people do when they delude themselves?

You lost me on that one. Maybe I should repeat what I said with a minor clarification

Reality doesn't go away when you pray. Reality simply makes room for prayer, such that prayer becomes a part of reality. Similarly, you don't have to be a multi generational farmer to plant a seed. Anybody can do it if they want.

You suggested earlier that spirituality is like a wall hedging out science and therefore you from understanding or acknowledging it. But in fact it is your absolute adherence to science that is keeping you from spirituality. So I said that the spiritual can only be addressed spiritually. And it can be accomplished thru a small bit of courage and prayer and the temporary suspension of opinion, science, and unbelief. Maybe viewing it as a science of the spirit that would make it more palatable. I mean, there are all kinds of sciences, right?

LOL If you can suspend unbelief momentarily, close your eyes and speak a question to God which you have carried with you from reality, that is prayer. You have carried reality to the spiritual realm. So you are safe. It's hardly the path to mania. sheesh When you stop everything else to cook dinner, does reality flee and you turn into a raging lunatic? To whom have you guys sworn this oath of disbelief that it cripples you and binds you down. For goodness sakes, do you want to know the truth or do you want to remain in the dark? Where is your courage and freedom? Why are you so afraid to look or seek or ask for real.

How do you talk to somebody who doesn't exist? I could talk to myself and imagine I am talking to your God. Is such playacting prayer?

I can't make myself actually believe the charade. I don't have that power. I am compelled to believe or not, and to a particular level of certainty, by evidence and reason.

No, but cooking dinner does not require me to believe something I do not.

So you have abandoned the delusion argument and settled on the I don't care platform. Well enough.
