For all the reasons you despise The Kenyan Tyrant........for all the reasons you would come to dislike a President Romney or President Perry.....

    .....Ron Paul......

It was a Harris Poll.......and its not just the Harris Poll that shows Ron Paul beating The Kenyan Tyrant.....

These results come just a few weeks after a Reuters/Ipsos survey showed Ron Paul polling within striking distance of President Obama among registered voters. Furthermore, a late August Rasmussen poll showed him within 1 percent of President Obama in a head-to-head matchup.

Another recent Gallup survey, conducted August 17-18, shows Paul only 2 percentage points behind Obama in a general election match-up. In a similar head-to-head survey from last year done by Rasmussen, Dr. Paul drew a statistical dead heat with the President. And earlier this year in a survey by CNN, he did the best out of the other Republicans put up against Obama in a head-to-head poll.

Yep another week Paul is at 6 % nationally ..and Paul suddenly beats Obama.Where was the poll taken and who was polled..ie..ask Texans in southern Texas?
The president is doing so badly just about any Living breathing person would Poll better than him.

Now add the other republican people in the race and Paul falls way down and is TOAST.

The press is ignoring him..and he could beat the president.

So could 150 million other conservatives.
    Give or take 1 Paul.

LOL Capital, what the hell is that. Credit is what creates sound money. Just look how much credit we have now. Ha Capital, what an atiquated idea. Sound money, phew, who needs it, we have credit and a printing press. Stupid Paultards!

I'll never understand why people use singular polls when there are outlets that offer an average of just about every prominent poller to get a much broader view.

Actually Mitt Romney is the only one that beat Ron Paul in that survey, and it was by 2 points. Everyone else was well below Paul. And you still refuse to explain why paul will lose other than pure speculation.

I clicked on the link and it provided no polling data..No numbers ..location or party .
The so called average polling is Bs also.
Anyone with a brain Knows Paul's ONLY chance is to stuff internet polls where you can click multiple times..then complain you are ignored..do badly in the debates and have all the pot loving anti establishment sheep keep giving him more money for nothing.

Sorry I live in the real world..
He is only qualified to be the treasury secretary..
    NOTHING ELSE.

    in other words..
You have a guy throwing at 99 mph and strikes out everyone.
    But only for 2 innings.

You clowns would have him play shortstop..every other position and hit ..and pitch every inning ..every day.
    "He's the best"
You'd say..Fans voted him to play every day...voting at the ball park.
    They must be right.

    But some might know better.

    I understand your frustration..
    The Titanic is sinking.
All the passengers have started polls to determine who's to blame and who will save the ship..and how.
I bet the 1st class passengers have a different poll than the 3rd class..
and the officers might have a different poll than the Captain.
You "could " click on any of those polls..but would you get the right answer?

How the polls are worded..when..and where and who paid for the polls to be taken might have a influence ?

The BEST POLL IS NOVEMBER 2012.

You have to follow a link within the link.

    http://www.harrisinteractive.com/Ne...m Default/mid/1508/ArticleId/870/Default.aspx

And again, you make rash claims about Paul's support base without any substantial backing. First of all, most of the online polls do NOT allow multiple votes for one IP address. Secondly, no Paul supporter truly believes online polls to be accurate representations so stop trying to spout out that crap.

You give these poor examples and never give reasonable explanations as to why you think Paul can't win. It really shows how little you really know.

I do know Bachmann is Toast now..
Perry is polling way lower than this poll..
That make me suspect this poll was rigged..or dated..like after IOWA ?
Or among The right wing tea party voters.. ?
I based my Paul support or lack of it ON HISTORICAL RECORDS..and the same tactics he used last time.HIS SUPPORT has NOT IMPROVED from then to now.

Some people do not rely on polling..but actually read and do the home work. For the record I was a township Republican delegate committed to Romney..Paul finished a distant 2nd and Mccain was waay behind.

Paul would beat McCain in Minnesota..
Too bad he wasn't running for governor here,He'd get my vote over Dayton.:)

    Reading your own provided table..
The Only population Paul beats Romney is those who call themselves LIBERAL
    20-19 %
I do note this poll asked those to identify themselves..and we all know how some might game that system.
Paul goes from NA to lots in just 2 months ?
Mm.. Destroying other polls which show 6 %.
but hey the tea party supports Romney over Paul ..Conservatives and Republicans and moderates do too..so I'll take that as a positive.
Romney has stayed near the same or gained 3 pts..I find it hard to believe all the Bachmann and Perry people went to Paul...instead of Cain or Romney.

I don't know how the poll was taken but I can be sure of a few things. This GOP race is mostly a Romney vs. Paul race now. Perry and Bachman are indeed falling and I don't see either of them recovering. Paul's support only goes up, it rarely goes down.

You can't make a logical evaluation of Paul's current support merely by his past performance. He himself has said that he is doing the same thing he always has but that the immediate need for what his message is has gone up dramatically. This is why his support is going up. You keep saying that he didn't win in '08 and he is doing the same thing, so it will have the same outcome. That isn't looking at it logically. There are many more factors involved, many of which are in Paul's favor. I still have yet to see ANY reasoning for your claims other than more claims. Saying he lost before so he will lose again just won't cut it. His support has gone up from then. If you need proof of that, just look here.

    http://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/summary.php?CID=N00005906

He has already raised nearly double of what he raised in total in '08.

Real clear politics has Obamas average down at ''42'',,,IMAGINE???? 42 AVERAGE!!!!,,HOLY CRAP!!!!...I should run....LOL
Two pollsters have him at 39, which is probably his real number..This guy just might fall into the thirties for a average,,,at this time Bush was 55.....

Ten years from now the MSM may have the courage to say how bad he actually was....:bored:

Sure, anything could happen, I'm not predicting the future.

But when you got an economy that is still running 9% unemployment, Obama losing to a "generic" Republican but still beating every single Republican candidate, that sounds to me that the Republicans have a problem with the types of candidates they are fielding.

I don't understand how they can list ANY republican being tied with Obama nationally and then give comparison with each nominee lower. Something is fishy there.

It just means people look to the opposite when things look bleak... sort of a "grass is always greener on the other side" thing. That's not to say the green can lose some richness once it's examined.

Honestly, our system is so rigged. After all, with a population of 300 million people, we had 3 out of the last 4 presidents serve 2 terms, and most likely the 4th out of 5, while no one likes the government, 2 of which were father and son. When one takes a step back, it is obvious Obama will get a 2nd term. Since all policies remain the same either way, why go through the effort of having to switch presidents when you can just keep the same puppet for another 4 years?(From the elite's perspective) The voting machines are electronic. LOL. Lets say everyone could and did vote in Ron Paul, do people really believe that he would be announced the winner come election day?
