Perry for President but dodged VIETNAM

Rick Perry claims to be a patriot, so why did he choose his own personal safety over fighting in Vietnam for the ideals he claims to believe in? To me he's just a Bush, Junior clone.

Gov Perry must be a big threat to liberalism if we even have folks from Canada trying to discredit him. Whether he served in Vietnam or not, he's 10 times the soldier Barack Obama ever was.

 

He retired a Captain, guess you would be happy if he made up stuff like Kerry...huh? Obama retired from a community organizer position...HUGE DIFFERENCE....

Lets be honest, no matter what he did you will slam him, it's easier than finding something good about Obama....

Millions of service men & women served their entire carrers during time frame 1959-1975 without a tour of duty in SE Asia .

 

Perry, like Bush junior, was a coward. He evaded service in Vietnam, now he runs around telling everyone how patriotic he is. Perry is the typical GOP type that says one thing and does another.

PERRY, BUSH, JR. etc etc are COWARDS ! Many of us fought in Vietnam not because we wanted to but becuase we had to.

In addition Perry opposes a womans right to abort parasictic fetal tissue from HER body and opposes stem cell research. Ho does believe though that praying to a magical and invisable old man who lives in the sky is good thing.

 

If Perry & Bush are cowards, what does that make Obama?

 

Well Perry's service certainly doesnt compare to that of Obama's and Biden's......

Rick Perry proclaimed June 27, 2010 a state "Day of Prayer". This zealots stated "I urge Texans of all faiths and religious traditions to offer prayers on that day for the healing of individuals, the rebuilding of communities and the restoration of entire Gulf Coast environment in the wake of this disaster". WOW ! He's really is crazy.

 

There's absolutely no comparrison,nor should there be.
However I detected a new strategy being employed by lefties.
The last 2 days those at MSNBC are talking as if Obama did in fact,
serve this Country proudly.They just can't say it was in any military capacity.
I'm not sure what they are referring to.Maybe as a Professor he served this
country proudly.Or as a Community Organizer.
MSNBC is definately trying to establish some precedent that Surely Obama
IS a Patriot and Has served this Country.
But they fail to explain any of it.Just fill in the blanks ... Joe Public.
Anywho that is the new tactic the left is employing.
Like Matthews forcing any Politician he interviewed on - Hardball -
particularly the last year,to admit that Obama Is surely an American,
As American as You or I.

When are one of you right-wing, military supporters going to explain how Perry evaded service in Vietnam at a time when the majority wanted no part of that illegal war that America lost to VC peasents? Perry was a coward just like Bush Junior. Reagan didnt serve in WWII, Bush Junior evaded Vietnam as did Perry. Seems to me the GOP love to back yellow-dog cowards who send others to their death but refuse to go themselves.

 

what else do you expect from a governor of TEXAS? He has gone on and admitted in his book that just like Bushwacker,he supports the death penalty so of course he is a clone of Bush jr whom Obama is a clone of continuing his policys and even expanding them.

He would be the next biggest fraud of a president next to Obozo if he got got elected.Dont be surprised if he does.He is the poster boy for the establishment and a member of that evil organization The Council On Foreign Relations.

our ONLY hope is if Ron Paul gets elected.the only candidate who is not a member of that group.

I did my time in the military and I know it's a shock but I went where they told me to go.

 

um,Perry graduated college in 1972.And if you know your history,which I really doubt,Vietnam was starting to wind down when he started training in the Air Force.Tell us,what military service were you in??

 

Yukon,tell us what branch of the military you served in while calling those who have "cowards.
