You may not like him but there is a candidate that speaks honestly from his heart and no sound bites whatsoever. He is a candidate now.

    Let's hope.
Unfortunately, they did not rise to their professions in the last presidential cycle, preferring to concentrate on vp candidates.

I don't completely disagree with this.

Unfortunately, Bachmann's social planks will not sit well in the general election, and Perry does nothing to counter that.

Again I say, fiscal conservatives/social moderates should be looking to Johnson for the general election, to beat Obama.
He is a job creator, a fmr. governor, and his immigration plan is exactly what this country needs.

Perry is not going to satisfy TEA partiers, Inds or Libs...and he certainly won't drain off any Dems...on the other hand, folks may be agitated enough to vote "anyone but O".

You can't learn anything from WSJ opinion pieces, but it's clear now why you're deluded. Nice try.

The numbers are fact. Refute them if you like, but you can't.

Unsubstantiated claims are not fact. You're gullible.

    Then refute the numbers.

Give a source that shows they are wrong.

Who said I don't like him? What I said was, I don't hear any from the heart candidates. I am not comfortable with candidates that use nothing but pre-programmed sound bites. Perry is well liked, no doubt about it, and I would vote for him in a second if he is the republican candidate.

I thought Bush sucked reading from a teleprompter, but he was incredibly likable and honest when he spoke extemporaneously. I am sure I will have the same opinion of Perry when I actually hear him speak off the cuff. Bachmann is one huge sound bite, I would still vote for her, but she is not my first choice.

When someone like Chis Christy speaks, he doesn't use sound bites or bullet points, he tells it like it is. He doesn't need a teleprompter like Obama. Obama is so bad, he needs a teleprompter to say Grace at the family Thanksgiving dinner table.

And there is a smaller percentage of Texans employed compared to the national average, and compared to 11 years ago.

Population has grown in Texas more than any other state during Perry's tenure. It's that immigration thing. A lower percentage of them are employed now than ever.

It has grown because he has created an environment where people can afford to live and can find a job. Also companies have moved there to because of a friendly business environment.
