Please help me understand why some people are refusing to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

A vaccine that is presently your only protection from an agonizing and quite possibly fatal disease and which disease is far FAR more likely to have adverse and quite likely fatal results than any vaccine. You left that out.

If you don't want to get vaccinated, don't; but you shouldn't be allowed to take up resources which all of us might need because you refused a necessary service

 

You left out the high survivability rate and all the current adverse reactions and deaths from the ‘vaccine’. Other vaccines have been taken off the market with only 25 deaths.

You want to be a test subject with an unapproved experimental treatment feel free.

 

Democrats should have never politicized the issue to begin with and Biden was idiotic to double down on it back making it a huge goal by the 4th of July. Spite is a strange thing.

 

I do indeed. I have 3 comorbidities with COVID so the "high survivablity rate" doesn't really apply to me.

And the problem with not getting the vaccine isn't just you. It also has to do with the larger infected population and the consequent possibility of a mutation that is vaccine-resistant but you've heard that and obviously don't give a flying fandango. That concerns the rest of humanity rather than yourself and you so love emulating your bronze god.

And so do we. Do you want to subject the rest of us to the risk of a vaccine-resistant COVID? Then don't expect the hospital to admit you if you develop the malady

 

Well comorbidities are an issue and I advise people with such to chance it along with anyone in their 80s but it is still an unapproved experimental treatment. Pushing it on children is an evil I cannot condone.

You apparently are not aware of the Hippocratic Oath due to your belief unapproved treatments should be forced.

The Hippocratic Oath most famously says "First Do No Harm" but if you are encouraging people to risk getting a disease which is not only more often fatal than several we regard as very bad but also has several unsuspected long term effects surfacing almost daily only because of possible side effects of the vaccine itself which are all unlikely in the extreme I must argue you are doing just that.

And besides, I think this argument is bs. You don't want to do it because Trump was against it and being against it became a Trumpist talking point that was incorporated into the general Trumpist hatred for modern science. Trumpists don't even realize WHY they're against things anymore, and if it kills us all we should be proud to die for the Man of Bronze

as much as you may wish to legislate behavior, our job is not to protect you from any spore that might be airborne. You are responsible for yourself even if you need to wear a hazmat suit. Deaths from the vaccine are extremely rare compared to the millions of vaccinations given. 91% of COVID cases are from fools who chose not to take the vaccine.

2. They already have had the disease.
3. They are under 60 and in excellent health.

There are several valid reasons, including but most certainly not limited to:

1) The hurried nature of the vaccine development
2) The not-fully-tested nature of the vaccine
3) The many reports of the vaccine's side effects being worse than just getting COVID
4) The belief many have that they already had COVID and are already immune
5) The belief many have that they are free individuals (with individual rights and liberties endowed by their Creator) and can make their own healthcare decisions. (In leftist lingo, "my body my choice")
6) The fact that pretty much everything that the media has banged the drums on regarding COVID has been blatant lies/manipulations/disinformation.
7) Because COVID is a scam and nobody has died from it; no vaccine is needed.
