Whatever chance that Chris Christie had of gaining the support of right-wingers and **********s evaporated during his speech at the Reagan library.

It's amazing how low the repubs have sunk under the influence of their ignorant, intolerant and selfish base.
Any intelligent conservative today is DOA.
Only retards like Cain and Palin excite these new barbarians.

No amazement at how low the liberals have sunk, though, is there? No one ever expected liberals to rise from the slime so no one is disappointed.

Let's see, Gov. Perry, Gov. Christie, Gov. Palin, Gov. Romney, and Mr. Herman Cain all terrify the liberals because they've actually done something.

What lost me was his talk about sacrifice, which means the rich have to pay more taxes, and the idea of compromise, which means letting the liberal horde have their way.

Do you say that Cain is a retard because you think that black people are all stupid??

I think the lib who wrote this story is an idiot.

Because I don't know what he expects conservatives to complain about.

Christie was speaking in general terms and everyone agrees with compromise in the abstract.

Which means I don't think Christie was picking a fight with the Tea Party.

The big spenders in Washington have pushed the country to the edge of a cliff and Tea Party conservatives believe we are too near the edge now.

And I don't know if Christie thinks we should pile up more debt by expanding the federal budget, but he has tried to avoid more debt in New Jersey so I imagine he would as president also.

Meaning that Christie has much in common with the Tea Party patriots.

Noting the quote from Christie's speech is missing in the first point...I agree with all the other quotes. I don't see one bit how it conflicts with less goverment, low and fair taxes, and cutting spending. Maybe the OP is confused about what the right and tea party stands for.

LOL - If he runs for president he'll run away with the GOP nomination and destroy Obama in a landslide next year. You (D)-Bags better pray he doesn't run...

    - Compromise?

    - America is not divinely inspired as the greatest nation on earth?

    - We should care what other countries think of us?

    - Christie rejects the Bush/Cheney/Neocon Doctrine?

This guy sure sounds a lot like Obama. I'm doubting that people longing for Christie to run for president will care at this point. However, I think if he does run, we will see another iteration of the "grass is always greener syndrome" where a potential candidate looks fantastic to the Republican primary voters until the candidate actually declares and becomes a candidate.......

Gotta know Christie's speech was a big hit if they're already trying to discredit him. I thought he was awesome.

How predictable... now Cain is an "retard" too? Just like Palin.

    The liberals will call him:
    • Idiot / Retard
    • Mass Murderer of Animals
    • Mass Murderer of People through unhealthy foods
    • God Father Pizza Company Quitter
    • Slut / Whore - I dunno... they will find a way
    • Bad Parent
    • .... and of course RACIST!!!!!! :omg:

You beta male liberals are so sad and transparent.

I'm a staunch fiscal conservative, run a business and would support Christie.

On the parts where it makes good common sense to track conservative then he would do that. On the parts where it won't damage the country too much, then he will toss a bone to the liberals.

First, I think it's funny that a liberal would use retard as an insult. I thought y'all were above making fun of the developmentally disabled, but I guess I'm wrong.

Second, Cain has a master's degree in Computer Science from the old days. That was in the day of punch cards, FORTRAN and COBOL. Anyone with those credentials is hardly a "retard."

You libs need to get your demons straight. First he's another Palin, then another Cain, then another Bush.

Actually, he's nothing like any of these folks... and ABSOLUTELY nothing like Barack Obama.

Which means if he runs, he'll win.

Hope that scare the pants off the left. Obviously, it does. (LOL @ 'swiftboated himself)

the country needs a leader. One was not elected in 2008 but that's our fault and not Obama's. he just ran, we needed to vet through the BS media and see him for what he was, but failed to do that.

With Christie, he won't pull the "We won" crap pulled by Obama and Nancy

He understands that the liberal fiscal policy hurts our country and will go conservative. He will also understand that there is a group in this country who look to govt to redistribute from the productive. He will find ways to at least make them feel good at times knowing that he would be the President of the USA, not just the President of liberals like with the current POTUS

Hmmm...who can we support for awhile to see the liberals tear them to pieces? Hilliary perhaps? Maybe we should...wouldn't that be a hoot? Liberals are too predictable.
