Maybe he's just faking it to be snobby or something. Lol! Sorry but that's kind of the impression I get when I hear people from England talking. They sound like rich snobs. :D

Teapots? I have a friend who collects them. She has tons of teapots. The ones that sit on the stove top can be like a decoration too. I had a really nice copper one with a ceramic handle. Unfortunately, I turned on the wrong burner one time and burned out the bottom of it and had to throw it away. I have a plain white one now because I do drink tea sometimes, although most often I drink coffee. Sometimes a little tea is nice.

Ah well you are special and live in a special place. Maybe an over loaded fuse is...Switched? I haven't been to England unfortunately, but perhaps they don't deal with having to checking their switches after going dark like we do.

I don't know, but you should be able to run multiple appliances if you have an up to date fuse box!

. I love tea pots but they get greasy sitting on the stove.

Today I had my laundry going and my dishwasher as well as my air conditioner and didn't blow any fuses. Maybe you are right and I'm just the bestest one! ;) Lol!

. Most homes occasionally have issues. Perhaps exceptionally new house, condos or apartments have less trouble?

The only place I ever had a hard time with blowing fuses was a really old house that had a really old fuse box with the old fashioned screw in fuses.

It looked rather like this one.

The one I have now looks like this but I have yet to blow a fuse with this box.

Add up the total amps required to run all appliances on a circuit.

If the amp load exceeds the circuit breaker or fuse rating on that circuit, it will trip. Sometimes it isn't obvious which outlets go with which breaker or fuse.

A vacuum cleaner might require 12 amps or more. Some circuits are only sized for 15 amps. So it doesn't take much more than that. Most standard outlet circuits in the US are good for 20 amps I believe.

A 1500 watt space heater requires about 12.5 amps at 120 VAC.

I have no idea why he would talk like he is English. Maybe his parents were from England and he picked it up from them?

I've got the top one and a smart metre that connects to this device that lets me know how much its going to cost.
I had a recent upgrade of my metre.

I've adapted to recognise New Hampshire or what my imagination thinks Martha's Vineyard sounds like, because of Loyd Grossman. (IDK my MA geography much).
Upon learning that he's American, I've learned to think that he has a proud thick distinct accent of a well educated man from New England. Which can confuse me for British.

I'll bet you have too many appliances running off the same circuit.

I still blame NH or CN or somewhere... I believe him to be posh New England living in Britain, but, keeping his posh American accent.

He probably just fakes it because he doesn't want to have the typical Massachusetts accent. Lol. My friend and I, when we would go out, would sometimes pretend we were from another country just to mess with people. :D

I think whoever this voice actor is comes from the same part of America as Loyd Grossman does.
