I don't like Trump. Never did. Didn't vote for him. But Democrats put up one of the most despicable human beings alive today to run against him, and people voted for the lesser of two evils. But you feel free to spare me your cries of "Russian like" when you espouse a totalitarian agenda the KGB would be proud of.
Instead of pretending you know something, just ask and find out the truth. For example, my opinion of Trump. I don't like the man, he is an opportunist, he has no solid political or moral foundation. He dropped his major campaign promises within a few months of taking office. He has not reduced the power of the govt but seems to want to use the same executive powers that Bush 43 and obama used and abused. But he is doing some good - he is shaking up DC, he is making progress with China and North Korea and Iran and Russia. The Cold War is over, there is no USSR, its time to join the 21st century and drop the Cold War BS prejudice. He is cutting taxes and he is cutting some govt regulation. But nothing permanent. And he is infinitely better than Hilary. While you can postulate about Trumps connections with Russia, Hilary was bought off by Putin and the Russian oligarchs. And that's a fact.
Hilarious knee-jerk nonsense considering my documented condemnations of Trump and the Republicans in general. But condemning you for an anti-constitution position means I'm "Trumptonian." Hysterical!
I love the Hughes Amendment-nothing proves as conclusively as that law that gun control is about spite and harassment-not stopping crime.
Kids are shot and accidents happen because of idiot gun owners that don't take gun safety seriously. A gun cabinet should be anchored securely to a brick wall. Only the gun owner knows the whereabouts of the key. Trigger locks should be fitted. Those who haven't the brains to implement such basic steps should have their guns removed for life and jailed.
Yep. Nothing but a petulant, poison-pill amendment introduced by someone hoping it would kill the main bill.
I agree every gun owner should have a gun safe. Personally I think the trigger locks on a gun that is locked in a safe is overkill. The problem is there are too many stupid people on this planet so even if locking guns in a safe was mandatory (which I am NOT advocating for) these idiots would still leave loaded guns accessible to toddlers to eventually kill themselves or someone else.
As if we needed proof the anti-gun left only seeks to make it as difficult as possible for the law abiding to exercise their right to arms.
Guns should always be properly secured when not in use, yes. Trigger locks are a dangerous panacea that cause more accidents than they prevent. Much better to make sure the kids are properly trained in firearms safety from a young age.
Just as children die from a great many everyday causes because adults are not paying attention. Attempting to mandate such would never pass constitutional muster. It has been attempted in the past, and the united state supreme court stated in no uncertain terms, that such was not allowed under any standard of review. As such, stop proposing the same, tired, failed proposals, and come up with something new, that actually complies with established precedent.
Well, if they were truly interested in safety they would advocate fiercely for education. But, they know that educating kids on firearms means another generation that appreciates the right to be armed, and they will NOT allow that if they can prevent it.
Ah, I said Russia, not the USSR. I said he acts like a Russian leader. Time to join the actual conversation.
There's a lot of backwoods preacher in you with the Constitution as your bible. Not always a bad thing, not always a good thing.
The USSR was our enemy, not Russia. The USSR is gone. Economically and politically Russia is a shadow of the former USSR. Its time to stop treating Russia as if it is USSR. Update your list of hatreds.
Man, listen to me. Trump acts like a Russian leader. Get it? Nothing about their economy, their strength, their weakness, the cold war, the USSR, or anything else.
And how does a Russian leader act? And how is that different from any other leader? You hate Trump, that's clear, but you have not made any substantive argument on anything.
