More accurately, what is being focused on is government infringing upon the constitutional rights of united states citizens, who have done nothing wrong to legally warrant such an infringement in the first place.

Such is not needed. Simply stay out of the way and cease interrupting others who are engaged in actual and legitimate debate and discussion.

I hate to break this to you, but a lot of people see a booming economy and a lot of other things that liberal Democrats refuse to see or in abject denial about. Yes, the economic growth began before Trump took office; but most people see the strongest economic growth in a generation... and most of it happened under Trump. I don't like Trump, but I can see the economic realities blowing most of the "blue wave" right out of the water. The embrace of socialism by the Democrats only further alienates the moderates and independents the Democrats need to get anywhere on the national level.

What you also fail to understand is that there is still a strong portion of the American public who take the Constitution seriously and who react negatively to any infringement of their rights whatsoever. When they see outright defiance of the Constitution taking place, and by government no less, they become even more hardened in opposition to those who treat the Constitution in contempt; as you do.

And I'm not just talking about gun laws. The egregious intrusion against Constitutional freedoms intrinsic to Massachusetts gun laws is just one example of the attacks against our Liberty based out of places such as the Northeastern part of the nation. The arrogance and self-righteousness of those who support those attacks, who refuse to acknowledge the outrage engendered in what the left dismisses as "flyover country", only feeds the groundswell of revolutionary rhetoric that is growing in this country as a whole.

A lot of lines are being drawn in the sand, and to many Americans their 2nd Amendment rights are that line.

So nothing about infrastructure and poor leadership? Just more cr*p about the 2nd amendment. I hate to break it to you, but the 2nd amendment isn't going to help us compete in the global markets.

Neither is the first amendment, but such is not a legitimate reason for abridging it either.

Your opinions and worries about infrastructure and poor leadership are not shared by large parts of the American electorate.

As for the 2nd Amendment, a large percentage of that same electorate believe fiercely in the Constitution and take a very dim view of the undermining of it... and whether the gun-hating left wants to think about it or not, a lot of them are starting to dust off the proverbial muskets over the Left's contempt and active campaign against the Constitution and their political liberties.

People might be concerned, but not as concerned as they are by the attacks against the Constitution. Maybe if the Left wants to get anywhere they should start there.

By the way, your image file didn't come through; though I'm sure it was just another snide dismissal.

Wow, talk about hating basic civil rights. Should the police also be able to search houses to make sure that household chemicals are stored out of reach of children?

Maybe if the right wants to get the American worker paid they should start with a rebuilt infrastructure and better leadership.

Why not? You don't think that kids deserve to be free of being blinded/killed/poisoned by chemicals? 4 times as many kids are accidentally poisoned to death each year than killed in gun accidents? (Per CDC's WISQARS database).

Call your Rep. and run it by him/her. Personally, I think it's a tad intrusive.

Wrong. The second amendment helps keep the nation from becoming a totalitarian hell hole. Unless you think becoming like China or the USSR is how a nation stays economically healthy.

There is no such person. If you want a real discussion, then ask a real question. That is if you are here to actually have a conversation and not just to whine and spout propaganda.

Look, don't say the 2nd Amendment is there to protect us from becoming the USSR, when it didn't stop us from electing the most Russian like leader, Trump, we've ever had.

Demonstrate Trump is "the most Russian like leader". What are the traits of a "Russian like leader"?

Don't just throw out stupid propaganda unless you want to just go on the list of stupid people to be ignored and ridiculed.

Ignore me, please, I'd be thrilled. Anyone who can't see the Russianesqueness of Trump should skip my posts. You won't get them anyway.

So would checking homes for guns in safes. I disagree with both, as being against the 4th Amendment.

But the GCAs don't define "assault weapon" in regard to the action "assault".
