We don't need verifiable proof. You do. You don't have it. Ok. You don't believe it. Ok.

LOL! That isn't the way it works!

    You folks brought it up!

Your Bible is an ancient document with "no verifiable proof!"

Perhaps not verifiable to you, because you don't have those missing ancient vowels, and seemingly you also don't have the Holy Spirit to guide you through your translations... subsequently... you might think that the scripture is not verifiable. Oh Well.

Are you arguing that God the Father and God the Son are different entities ?

As someone that does not believe in history, archaeology, logic, and opinions and claims written down by people in the past, how do you verify scripture ?

Now that is a silly question. I already told you and other several times: When I find a need to make an inquiry about the scripture, I ask the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit reveals to me the meaning of that particular scripture. Surely you couldn't have forgotten what I said?

You say this but you have yet to prove it by answering simple questions about Bible events, Jesus, and God.

As BFSmith conjectures .. perhaps the spirit is not who you think it is !

Perhaps I feel confident with what I understand about particular passages of scripture and have not found need to query the Holy Spirit about the 'questions' you have. BTW: Read this again: "When I find a need to make an inquiry about the scripture, I ask the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit reveals to me the meaning of that particular scripture. Surely you couldn't have forgotten what I said? "

I don't bother the Holy Spirit about questions that you might have. Those are things that you need to consult with the Holy Spirit about. I tried that once before, and as you recall, the Holy Spirit told me to tell you that you needed to ask Him.

LOL So now your Spirit Guide is avoiding questions.

    Smells fishy to me.

I think that Brother Smith is on the right track.

Twisting things around again, I see. Or are you having another episode of non-comprehension with your reading ability? The Holy Spirit does not avoid my questions; The Holy Spirit gave me a response to my question and gave me instructions to give to you about your questions. You are to ask the Holy Spirit, not me, with regard to your questions.

    Then go take a bath.

Opinions are a wonderful thing, aren't they? Unfortunately, opinions do not = FACT.

Do not ask the spirit to answer my questions. Ask the spirit to answer "your" questions.

Just because I gave you the question does not mean it is not your question as well.

    Go try again. Persistence !

The Bear can not Walk - Ocean in the way
    The Bear can not fly
The swim is too far a distance (even Polar bears who swim for a living will drown if they to not have enough ice to walk on) Spectacled bears are not much for swimming.
Scottie had not been invented yet,

I am glad you thought about it though. Surely you must be a little curious !?

I do not know how to do multiple quotes using html format.

And I suppose you actually question every aspect of everything that is brought before you during every passing moment and every second on the day? My goodness, that would make you perhaps the most paranoid person who ever lived on the face of the earth. Did you also question the ice cream and cake that mommie used to feed you as a child? Did you present her with 10000 questions before you sunk your teeth into those items?

Now answer me this: Why is it in your mind that you think I should be curious about an animal that I have never seen; one that I had never heard of until you mentioned it; one that I did not even know to exist? Is it a socially unacceptable thing to NOT be curious about every thing? Or is it just socially unacceptable for people to NOT be curious about the speckled bear in South America? Do you have an abnormal curiosity about that bear? What would be the nature of your fascination with that bear? Does that bear display more masculinity than do you? Now, you see, you have my curiosity aroused... but not just about the bear, but about your possible sexual fantasies... Your hangups... your fetishes in relation to that bear.

Now do you want to make further inquiry into the curious nature that the mind can slip into? Is there anything else that you would like to raise my curiosity about with regard to you?

That is the way it works. Im not interested in giving you 'verifiable proof'. I just tell you what it says.

Yes the Bible is an ancient book. I have no verifiable proof to offer to convince you the truth of it. I just tell you the truth of what it says.

"The House on Pooh Corner" is true if you choose to believe it and don't vigorously test it.
    How is your belief different?

Well of course the Bible is not PROOF (in the scientific sense of proof). We would not expect you to violate your rules and potentially abuse your fragile system of logic. That sort of action would be a complete tragedy to cause some people to realize that there are in FACT somethings (spiritual) which science cannot explain, cannot measure, cannot encapsulate ; yet those things spiritual go right on ticking just like the Ever-ready bunny. So what is your point?
