Man, the comment section is chock full of Leftist rage! Good move by Kevin.
I don't think the Democrat Senate will pass it. We'll see what happens
I knew a guy that played High School football. He was a big bruiser. He was trained to be highly aggressive. He tells me he did play against a girl in Football and dang near killed her.

Boys and girls, after puberty anyway, are extremely different. In fairness, and to protect kids, which we're all supposed to be in agreement upon, girls should not be playing in boy's sports. I'm sure there can be exceptions but that isn't how rules work. They're very broad, in order to avoid those slip ups that could result in dead children.

Besides the physical threat I would imagine a female athlete would feel so demoralized and defeated being forced to compete along males pretending to be just like her.

    Agree.
Males should play with males and females with other females.

It's a symbolic win, and lets competing females KNOW a Republican congress, and I would imagine, many Independents, (like us), and some Democrat voters have their back. They vote according to their constituency, so that's good.

agree, but the bill did not seem to agree, they only feel boys should not be allowed to play on the girls teams, they still allow girls to play on the boys teams

Back in the day I played competitive whip softball in a mens league and coed lob softball with women on the teams. Each league used a different softball; in the whip league the ball is harder and comes off the bat faster. The ball in the coed league is softer and doesn’t come off the bat as fast and they use this ball so women infielders don’t get their teeth knocked out by a line drive.

Did they specifically take the above issue up or is this your attempt to muddy the waters?
I haven't read the bill, so I have no idea what was excluded. Since you know, tell us.

Correct. You're making me put on my MRA hat :)
Our society is very "gynocentric". Women did not have the power to select their child's sex after birth. Now they see they "can". Jordan Peterson refers to this kind of mom as "all devouring". It appears to be akin to Munchausen's syndrome by proxy.
    But conflict of interests:
Women are being erased by this. Their sports, opportunities, affirmative action (your corporate board required by law to hire a woman? A dude with a beard and a bulge can waltz in, claim to ID as a woman and bam, can get the sex based position.) and see their spaces violated.
So, it is women, who make up a majority of eligible voters and since 2015 in the US, have more money than men, that are making a choice about which way the law would better represent them when facing this conflict.
The interests of rank and file men are immaterial to the powers that be. So, this law isn't about them.

It will be difficult for half the senate to discuss this when they cant/won’t even define who’s being protected. I would like to see every liberal in Congress along with Biden and his cabinet to be asked to define what a woman is. Just this week yet another Bidophile refused to define what a woman is even though he was asked about five times in a congressional hearing.
