the hard part in this is we want equal rights, but now we want to say, separate but equal the trans issue is confusing gender equality if the genders are equal, then it doesn't matter - if the genders are not equal it does matter I think we all agree, men should not be on women's sports teams, but it does make it complicated when talking gender equality
Boys don't need protection in girls' sports. They could dominate girls sports as the trannies have proven. I don't see where boys need the same protection from girls playing in boys sports. Is there even one instance of it? I have a niece who played select hardball with the boys until she was 14. She went on to play college softball and frequently put it out of the park, but her little brother hit a home run in a major league stadium as a high schooler. I never went beyond placing in the top eight in my district in track and field, but I could outrun the girls state champion at any distance. I've broken guys fingers over the volleyball net, and I'm not a big guy. Our net is 6" higher than the girls net. Of course, that was almost 40 years ago.
FreshAir does raise interesting questions. Similar to the type I ask as to why there is a Federal Violence Against Women act. Why not make this gender neutral? I wrote above my thoughts that boil down to, to our politicians, women, who make up a majority of eligible voters (for starters, they live nearly 10% longer, voter eligible years than do men) and since 2015, have more money (and Business Weekly wrote, expect that number to rise from its 2015 52 to 48% of the wealth gap in women's favor) matter and that men, simply put, don't. As FreshAir pointed out, boys DO need types of protections. How will they feel if they literally kill a girl on an opposing football team where in reality, she never should have been playing with them to begin with?
Hmm.. What question are you asking? Saying biological men can't participate in women's sports doesn't seem too far afield, does it? It doesn't seem to preclude an astonishingly skilled woman from competing with men in say, the PGA, or USTA, etc. If you are a woman, and you can hack it in mens football, go big. Why not? Would you be threatened by that? I wouldn't. If you can compete, without segregation, go for it. But take an example of Lindsey Vonn or Mikala Shifrin, Ask them if they would be competitive on the men's circuit. If they felt they could be, they would be. Why not? My only point is that if it takes hormone replacement therapy for you to meet a "criteria" to compete, why is that fair?
Wow! I bet GOP every publicist is burning up his keyboard getting this out to his subscribers. I can't even imagine the uproar if Biden vetos it.
Protect them from what? Their sports organizations are well established, and, I'd bet support this bill Let us know what you find.
Female athletes are the ones who need the protection. Less than mediocre biological males are moving in and dominations women’s / Girls sports. There’s not a problem with women going into mens programs.
IF it's a "girls football team" yes; some schools are starting girls flag football teams. It's not likely that a girl making the varsity football would wreak the havoc that a 220lb chick with a d**k would on a girls soccer team.
so if a girl is on a boys football team, it's not a girls team? but the males would have to play different because of her, many males do not want to hit women
