Russia is the historical breakaway. The Kievan Rus came first. Vlad the Incompetent should abdicate to Zelenskyy...

Putin's annexation is nothing but Hitler-style land grabbing in the 21th century. BUT... just like Hitler's illegally annexed territories were returned to their rightful owners, after ww2, so Ukraine's borders shall be restored after the demise of Putin. Dictators like Hitler and Putin always try to claim the world as their greatest prize. But they can't take it with them in death.
We, the people of the free world, will be celebrating Ukraine being a sovereign nation long after Putin has gone the way of the Dodo.
    Here end of the lesson.

Folks have the right to be who they wish to be. And, actually, if Ukraine dropped off the face of the earth, it would be years before I even noticed.

I think this is the endgame for Putin, he will declare these territories part of Russia and say mission accomplished, occupying him with the huge force of reservists he's calling up. He will then offer peace talks making it very hard for the West to keep supplying the Ukraine who may have to just accept it.

Who said I would not live there .. albeit would not be my first choice .. better than a whole lot of other shtholes.. but, this is not about me, where I would prefer to live or how dreamy your hero Putin is. This is about your deep lack of information about of the world around you - especially in relation to geopolitical affairs.

Where else are you going to get "The other side of the Story" What kind of moron journalist for example - only gets one side of the story ?

So when I ask someone about the situation in Ukraine ..what they think Russia will do .. should I ask the person who has read multiple sources .. including Heir Putin .. or the one who's only source was the US state sponsored propaganda machine -- and who does not know the machine exists .. or what propaganda is.

I'm very well aware of the world around me, and as such I know that authoritarian regimes (which Russia is) is not to my liking. I favor democracy. Which at it's core puts me at a disagreement with the current state of Russia and China. And while I'd rather leave them be, I sure as **** will not stand idly by and let them muscle their way into more power and influence.

So if you wanna go "but NATO did this" I will say "So what?". Like you (even though you don't realize it) I prefer western style governance and democracy. Which is exactly why you don't live there.

Very little awareness of world around you have demonstrated - on the contrary .. a pro-active disawareness you have put forth .. and proudly so .. declaring you have no interest in the other side of the story .. when assessing global affairs.

Why you then felt the need to tell me that you favor Democracy .. when clearly you don't know much about it .. and in fact work against keeping it .. I do not know .. Professing your preference for democracy .. is not going to help with your disawareness problem .. and in fact might exacerbate it ..

This is nothing but at long winded adhomn. Lacking any real substance. Did you want to try again?

Russia is a fake democracy. There is no shot a real democracy has the same idiot in charge for 20 damn years.

And the most real example of this fake ass democracy was on display for the world to see by holding an illegal referendum after months of conflict where one side of the voting population had been either killed captured or driven out...nevermind the fact that the vote was door to door at gun point.

    And you think that's democracy?

You may go now. Easy w

You are the one lacking in substance ... making false accusations .. pretending conversations that didn't happen .. Who told you Russia was a real democracy .. and what moron told you I said so..

The conversation is not about Russian Democracy -- it is about your "proactive disawareness" of what is going on around you .. that which you glowingly proclaim. You going to deny your own proclamations .. I am not the one making things up and taring you. you tarred yourself as one who has no use for other side of the story .. Don't shoot the messenger for repeating your own proclamation back to you :)

It's not a false accusation to say that internation law governed by the UN of which Russia is a part of dictates that only the Ukranian government could hold a referendum. Not an invading governing body. So when I say that the referendum was illegal, it IS a fact.

You can't dispute that. So we will get a dipshit adhomn instead.

When I say that the vote of the illegal referendum was not valid due to there being years of conflict which has affected the population's demographics. You can't dispute that. There is no shot that after having one side be either captured, driven out or kill and what's left asked to vote in front of oppossing soldiers holding rifles doesn't effect the results. That is not a "fair" voting standard. AND any government who wants to claim that is, is showcasing their standards and by extension is corrupt.

Nevermind the fact that you also can't argue that Putin has magically been in power for 20 years now which is far too long and too much power for any one political body.

You can't argue any of this. So again, I will get some dipshit low level ad homn.

There is now written agreement regarding "not 1 inch eastward". If you can find me it, post it. Furthermore...that agreement was with Gorbechev and his Soviet Union. Is the Soviet Union currently still a governing body?

On the flip side, I have an actual signed agreement of Yeltsin who represented the RUSSIAN FEDERATION to promise to not do the exact things they are currently doing in exchange for Ukraine to hand over nuclear warheads.

Who said it was a false accusation .. and why are you falsely pretending someone did -- in a desperate attempt to avoid the false accusation you did make - about Russian Democracy claims .. trying to tar others with your made up fantasies.

and what does any of this have to do with your self proclaimed proactive disawareness from which you are now desperately trying to hide.

Did you listen to the most recent speech of your Savior Vlad -- telling you his plans .. such that you can "be aware" and prepare :) :cynic::cheerleader:

As expected your post reeks of zero substance and is just another stupid adhomn.

There is no shot that anyone man should be in charge of a country or Nation for 20 *******n years that's authoritarian.

And if you're telling me that he keeps magically winning elections, I'm going to point you to the very recent example of his warped ass corrupt mind thinking that the illegal referendum that he held in parts of Ukraine were legit in the outcome and not affected by the past years of war which saw one politically leaning side become either arrested killed or who have fled the area.

Can you prove to me that Putin isn't corrupt?

Zalensky said he's willing to have peace talks but not with Vladimir Putin. Hey Zalensky, who cares?:nana:

I don't see it as the end game for Russia. They have to free Kharkov because of its proximity to the Russian border and the way it's located. The difference with Karkov though, is that unlike the other cities now under Russian control, is that the Russians are a minority within it, even though the area itself is predominantly Russian.

Odessa on the other hand is a Russian city and the people there have suffered dearly. Once it is freed, Russia will have a connection to Transnistria, something they have been waiting years for. I foresee the total break up of Ukraine with the Romanian and Hungarian parts holding referendums and uniting with their respective countries.

Poland of course is the problem. Will they do what's in their own self-interest and make an agreement with Russia so they can take back Galacia and the city of Lviv or will they continue on the same path.

Vladimir Putin's presidency wasn't continuous since that would have been against Russian law. Putin served 2 terms and then Medvedev was voted in as president. He was voted out and Putin was voted back in after allowing Washington to deceive him with the false premise of a no fly zone in Libya.

In reality it was an invasion of Libya and we destroyed the wealthiest nation in Africa and killed Ghadaffy after having promised Medvedev we wouldn't. This might be why Medvedev has such a distrust and hatred for the US and Nato.

The burden of proof is on you that he is corrupt. Besides the Russian people aren't stupid. They suffered enough with Washington's man Yeltsin when their wealth was being bought up by criminals financed by foreign banks, and shipped to off shore accounts while they went hungry.

Here are some quotes from Sharon Henderson, who I consider a lot more credible than our government and their propaganda networks.

"...The year was 1992: A new program possibility emerged in my head. Since I expected it might require a signature from the Marienskii City Hall, an appointment was made. My friend Volodya Shestakov and I showed up at a side door entrance to the Marienskii building. We found ourselves in a small, dull brown office, facing a rather trim nondescript man in a brown suit. He inquired about my reason for coming in. After scanning the proposal I provided, he began asking intelligent questions.

After each of my answers, he asked the next relevant question. I became aware that this interviewer was different from other Soviet bureaucrats who always seemed to fall into chummy conversations with foreigners with hopes of obtaining bribes in exchange for the Americans’ requests. CCI stood on the principle that we would never, never give bribes.

This bureaucrat was open, inquiring, and impersonal in demeanor. After more than an hour of careful questions and answers, he quietly explained that he had tried hard to determine if the proposal was legal, then said that unfortunately at the time it was not. A few good words about the proposal were uttered. That was all. He simply and kindly showed us to the door.

Out on the sidewalk, I said to my colleague, “Volodya, this is the first time we have ever dealt with a Soviet bureaucrat who didn’t ask us for a trip to the US or something valuable!” I remember looking at his business card in the sunlight–it read Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin..."

"...February 2000: Almost immediately Putin began putting Russia’s oligarchs on edge. In February a question about the oligarchs came up; he clarified with a question and his answer: “What should be the relationship with the so-called oligarchs? The same as anyone else. The same as the owner of a small bakery or a shoe repair shop.” This was the first signal that the tycoons would no longer be able to flaunt government regulations or count on special access in the Kremlin. It also made the West’s capitalists nervous. After all, these oligarchs were wealthy untouchable businessmen–good capitalists, never mind that they got their enterprises illegally and were putting their profits in offshore banks..."

"...Four months later Putin called a meeting with the oligarchs and gave them his deal: They could keep their illegally-gained wealth-producing Soviet enterprises and they would not be nationalized if taxes were paid on their revenues and if they personally stayed out of politics..."

"...This was the first of Putin’s “elegant solutions” to the near impossible challenges facing the new Russia. But the deal also put Putin in crosshairs with US media and officials who then began to champion the oligarchs, particularly Mikhail Khodorkovsky. The latter became highly political, didn’t pay taxes, and prior to being apprehended and jailed was in the process of selling a major portion of Russia’s largest private oil company, Yukos Oil, to Exxon Mobil. Unfortunately, to U.S. media and governing structures, Khodorkovsky became a martyr (and remains so up to today).."

"... I arrived in St.Petersburg. A Russian friend (a psychologist) since 1983 came for our usual visit. My first question was, “Lena what do you think about your new president?” She laughed and retorted, “Volodya! I went to school with him!” She began to describe Putin as a quiet youngster, poor, fond of martial arts, who stood up for kids being bullied on the playgrounds..."

"... Last, each was asked, “So what do you think of your new president?” None responded negatively, even though at that time entrepreneurs hated Russia’s bureaucrats. Most answered similarly, “Putin registered my business a few years ago”. Next question, “So, how much did it cost you?” To a person they replied, “Putin didn’t charge anything”. One said, “We went to Putin’s desk because the others providing registrations at the Marienskii were getting ‘rich on their seats.'”

I've already proves that he is corrupt.

By the fact that he's been in power for 20 years. Which you can't dispute.

And by the fact that he considers and illegally held referendum where the opposing side has been either captured killed or fled...legit.

    Lol

    Please try again Jeanette.

What you said proves nothing since you lack credibility. The only thing it proves is that you consider the American people stupid and that they'll accept everything being thrown at them by Biden and the MSM. Putin's presidency is within Russia's laws, but is ours?

Then again, maybe you want Washington to make up the laws for the Russian Federation the way it does for Ukraine and the rest of its minions?

If I recall correctly, wasn't Nuland paying the protesters at Maidan when she had her coup in Ukraine and overthrew the legitimate president, and wasn't she the one who chose Ukraine's new President?

I'm not cheering for Zelensky, and I know the Americans that are suffering surely aren't, especially when they see Biden sending our money to support his criminal war in favor of Soros and the foreign corporations.

I noticed you avoided the entire second part of my post. Lol

Secondly, I'm not a fan of Biden. But the beauty of our democracy is that Biden is temporary. Our political system makes it impossible for any one person to stay in power or be in power for 20 years.

Thirdly, I find it deliciously ironic that you are bitching about MSM propaganda while failing to acknowledge that only one side of the isle is allowed to report world news in Russia and that nobody is allowed to challenge putins narrative.

    Lol

We all know Putin is Corrupt .. so what is with the made up false nonsence that someone claimed otherwise.

What "Ad Hom" -- Came from your own mouth that you have no use for the other side of the story. Why you getting mad at me for your failings and inability to understand propaganda cause you have no reference. Its not my fault you are hopelessly out of your depth and saying silly things.
