First of all the war was not started by Putin. It was started by Washington and the EU who refused to pressure Zalensky to adhere to the Minsk II agreement that Poroshenko signed. They also ignored the Nazi attacks on the infrastructure and civilians in Donetsk for 8 years. 16 thousand Russian civilians were killed and its well recorded by the UN.

When Biden started his propaganda that Russia was going to attack Ukraine, even though the Russian troops were 200 miles away while Ukrainian troops were massing at the demarcation line of the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics, it was just an excuse to supply the Nazi armies with heavy arms so they could increase the attack on Donetsk 30 fold and start the war.

Washington and Nato forced Putin to go to war, knowing that he would have to save the people from genocide. In order to legalize the action, Putin recognized the 2 Republics and this gave them the right to ask for Russian peacekeepers. When the Nazis attacked the peacekeepers, Russia was able to legally search them out and destroy them - which they did.

 

I think Russia is in Donbas to genocide Ukrainians and steal land and resources.

If Russian decides to destroy civilian infrastructure the west will just give Ukraine the long range missiles Putin is so frightened of so they can do the same to Russia. According to Clayton Morris of Redacted, Putin's annihilatory plan will now go into affect since he had given fair warning that all hell will break loose. Lugansk now decided to join Russia, and yesterday Donetsk followed suit. Whether it was after the latest massacre by Ukraine in Donetsk, or the massacre occurred because of Donetsk's decision.

Anyway the genocide has been going on for 8 years, and according to Morris tens of thousands of civilians have been killed.

Imo opinion colonialism is when there is a nation or nations in between the land you are attempting to occupy. If it's on your border then ijust see that as natural expansion. Borders/nations are made up concepts, they change all the time

 

Turns out this conference was even funnier than I thought. Not only did big, bad Vlad have to grovel to India & China, all but apologizing for his war in Ukraine, he got humiliated in other ways.

People might be aware that one of the ways Putin used to like asserting himself was to make other leaders wait for him. Sometimes a few minutes, sometimes hours. It is a big 'FU' and a way to communicate who is important. Guess who is waiting now? Vlad had to wait for the leaders of India, Turkey, Azerbaijan and....wait for it....Kyrgyzstan. Yep, little Kyrgyzstan made Vlad wait. That is SO funny. I mean, India, sure. But Kyrgyzstan? Wow!

Even barely functional former colonial possessions are putting Putin in his place now. Poor Vlad. Next thing you know Russia will be unable to help one of it allies if it gets attacked. I mean, that would just cement its decline.

What she said is a straight up lie. The UN never accounted for thousands of Russian civilians killed. If anything, up to 4k civlians died from both sides combined by being caught in the crossfires of a war. I was in Ukraine in November last year. As fluent Russian speaker, I used Russian for communication and met a lot of people, who has Russian as their first language. Even president Zelensky is Russian-speaking person, not Ukrainian. And these Russian bots here talk about genocide of Russians in Ukraine...

 

Yes, the war was started by Pooootin back when he started inserting Russian insurgents into the Donbas. They started shooting at Uke's , including Uke soldiers, and got what any insurgent gets when he shoots at lawful authority. If Russians in the Donbas don't want to get shot after they start shooting, they need to leave.

Pootins fascist invasion of the Ukraine violated the promises Russia gave regarding Ukraine's borders and border security after Ukraine returned all the old Soviet nukes. Repeating Russian lies and propaganda doesn't change these simple facts.

All the lies and wild spin also doesn't change the fact that Poootin, vile scum that his is, has been making war on civilians.

 

8 years ago was when Putin started sneaking in militants and terrorists into the donbas region to destablize and terrorize the region.

And I'll tell you why I know that.

In 91, Russia made an agreement with Ukraine to trade up nuclear weapons for soverienty. To protect Ukraine. That was the agreement. And that's where you need to come at this whole mess.

Russia/Putin wants Ukraine. Want's it's land, wants it's resources. IF it were opperating in good faith it would allow an immediate path of all pro Russian citizens to escape Ukraine if it felt that they were in danger. To leave Ukraine up to it's own governance as one should do when you are dealing with a soverieng nation.

If further action is thought to be needed, then Russia (acting in good faith) would be meeting with global leaders in regard to further actions or sanctions on Ukraine to get their "wicked government" to stop massacaring people.

But Russia didn't do any of this. Because they are not acting in good faith. They want the land and the resources.

So 8 years ago when all this **** really blew up, was when Putin started injecting militants into the Donbas region. Your insistance of this current leadership as being a puppet regiem without any proof mind you. Not that it would matter. Doesn't change one's soveriegnty even still.

And now he is acting unilateral on this "special military operation" which just so happens that the end result will be Russia conquering land and resources...

Every move he has made ends at this result. Which is how I know you, this twitter poster and anyone trying to back Russia in this are full of ****. And when pressed on this, the twitter poster's only response is "everyone knows that Ukraine is shelling civilians in the donbas!"

Russia injected a bunch of terrorists and militia in the Donbas to destabilize and give them an excuse to come in and take land and resources. That's all this is.
