Everyone is entitled to their opinion, after all that's what makes the world go around, but what to you might seem the complexities of a modern world, to me would be the return to the complexities of a pagan world. :cynic:

E.U. is not so crazy about the U.S. that it is willing to self destruct, except maybe for a few Banderites and a few Lithuanians. :roflol:

and somewhere within this I think is your fear in the knowledge that though it certainly would cause some hardship to Europe, Russia would suffer much more.

We can see work ahead already to make different provisions for Gas

    http://finance.yahoo.com/news/balti...t-russia-gas-reliance-081107194--finance.html

Now, I would suggest to you that if Russia starts doing what you and others have suggested she will, that is officially come into Ukraine with a declaration of war, I think there will be no problem with these sanctions. I think Russia was given a month at the weekend by the US to stop it's covert actions in Ukraine.

There are people in East Ukraine who are Russian, either because they took over the places of those murdered in the holodomer
    http://www.day.kiev.ua/en/article/close/so-called-holodomor

They filled the places where Ukrainians and Ukrainian culture had once been. Note also this happened in Crimea also. Russian, ha ha.

There are other people in those regions whose ancestry is Ukrainian but who during this time signed up as Russian citizens, see the above article, for fear of losing their lives. They must decide whether they are Russian or Ukrainian. If they are Russian then they must return to Russia. It would be hoped that those who are Ukrainian but took on Russian citizenship for survival stay and work to recreate Ukraine and recover her lost memories - see first link.

Then there are also a lot of Russians who gained citizenships during the tenure of the last President. They too must either let go of being Russians or go back.

Even with all this Russians in this area make up about 30% of the people.

East Ukraine is not Russian but Ukrainian

    http://maidantranslations.com/2014/...ine-the-holodomor-and-russification-legacies/

Russia is at war with Ukraine at the moment but in a covert way. She wants Ukraine for her Eurasian Union. She has been destabilising the country for many years - see links provided. It appears she has not been successful at getting Ukraine by other means so now she wishes to fight either covertly as now or with a proper declaration of war. Third section sanctions will come then at the latest and Russia will hurt for harming people she has harmed now and before and trying to steal their culture and land, see links.

In the meantime do not think people are unaware of the fake news being spread by Russia

Unlike russians, we from the west where not odered to think that or that - not since 1945 anymore and in the east not since 1990 anymore.

Unlike you, we did get the Marshall plan (the stupit soviets did refuse it) and democracy.

That might make americans angry sometimes (Taxcutter might not like that I tell him his goverments energy policy is BS), but he respects that. I am 1000% sure about that...unlike ...

you and your new old USSR system.

I was against the Iraq war. Americans where sometimes angry that Germany was against it..so what? They had to deal with that...but UNLIKE RUSSIA, THEY ARE OUR FRIENDS AND DID OF CORSE NOT INVADE HERE!!!

...unlike you did in Crimea and unlike you do in Donbass.

    So get the message:

I prefer 1000 times americans who disagree with me but who respect freedom than russians who might agree, but who do NOT respect freedom.

I think Taxcutter as much conservative he might be and as much left wing I am...he would agree.

Only freedom and democracy can lead into real peace.

You do not have one or the other...

    UNLIKE US.

P.S. Like Taxcutter, dispite the fact that in general I think arms are useless because I prefer economy , real economy, Putins Russia changed my position about 180 degrees:

LIKE Taxcutter I think Germany needs to get re-armed.

UNLIKE you I think your president needs a strong iron fist in his face. That is the language he will understand.

(I am sort of sad and also amused same time to recognize that in that point I think the Neocons in the USA are right. It hurts me, but they are simply right here).

These pictures were taken from a book "Drawings from Gulag" By Danzig Baldaev (in the center):

    His short biography tells that:
    1) He was a son of 'enemy of people', who was taken to prison in 1938 and... released in 1940 as long as the case was not proved.
    2) Then Baldaev went to soviet police (being a relative of 'enemy of people'!!!) and served there all his life.
    3) During this servitude Baldaev was collecting all the folklore of killers, rapists and thieves. He was listening to their stories and learning their secret codes and language which started to develop parallely with the development of russian nation.
    4) None of his drawings is based on real life or the documents. All of it was based on words of criminals... But that is obviously enough for you to spread and for a westerner to believe.

In fact. USSR really had cases of 'legalised' violation against the human rights. It would be impossible to think that after the civil war that took more lives then all the nations lost in WW1 the peace would restore and preserve in the hands of those who survived and won in the war. Even more. Stalin starting as terrotist used terror against his own people. A priest would use a prayer. A banker would use currency speculation. An entreupreneur would use at least the information and business opportunities. Stalin was the person who always struggled with police, survived in prisons and out of them. So it is impossible to judge him at the same rank as the politicians who set and still keep a prison in Guantanamo... The difference is the scale of course. Nothing like mr Baldaev told happened on a common basis. All of it is rumors, legends and folklore.

For instance this picture refers to an episode of Siberian hunters life. Once gypsies settled near the village of russian syberian hunters in 17th century. One of the gypsies raped a girl from one of russian families. Then the hunters came and demanded gypsies community to give them the rapist for a punishment. Gypsies didn't do it. THen hunters caught few girls and did exactly this:

After the girls' inner was naturally destroyed by siberian ants (european ants don't make such a damage) hunters returned these girls to the gypsies and demanded for the rapist again. Then they were given the rapist. The execution of this rapist represented cutting his body into small pieces using hot metal to stop the blood and prevent the quick death. First cut a finger - then to stop blood. Then a toe the next day and again. During the execution doomed rapist was screaming as a wild animal that the clouds in the sky were going away from his scream... That is the legend. Most preferably it went of northern scandinavian tribes... Such a torture is only possible when someone wants to revenge. Or even the story itself helps fathers and husbands to respect other men of the tribes. In a modern state such a torture is impossible at large scales. USSR was young but quite a modern state. As long as such torture is too complicated to be followed by a murder there should have been victims of such a mass torture. They should have gotten names, witnesses etc. But they didn't Because they exist only in anti-stalin and anti-russian propaganda which fits noone with brains, unless you trust the corporate media of course.

Half of the book of 'Drawings from Gulag' are most probably taken from medieval 'hammer of witches'. But they surely didn't exist in such a fragile system as Gulag. Most of Gulag convicted people came back. As did the father of this interesting guy who spent too much time talking to criminals trying to understand what is happening in the darkeness of their souls. His works on criminal folklore deserves to be looked through. As for the book of "drawings from Gulag" it has always been as a matter to attract atention to an old forsaken guy, who was never respected by the criminals he talked to and never understood by his colleagues...

Why should they do that? Was Hitler their Führer?
Is Hitler not off-topic in this thread?
If not, then Zionism is not an off-topic, too.

BTW, what happened in Israel to the most prominent Rabbi that made these hateful statements:

This guy who believed that non-Jews are inferior animals that were created to serve the superior Jews got the biggest funeral in the history of Israel, and Netanyahu called him "a giant of Tora and Jewish law and a teacher of tens of thousands"

Stalin killed more than 28 million innocent people.

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef? not a single person.

your comparison is absurd & ignorant. :)

I doubt that Stalin or Ovadia killed somebody with their own hands.

    But both were haters.

BTW, if Stalin was a criminal, why did they not condemn him at Nuremberg?

Western powers were allies of a mass murderer!

Western media promoted a picture about the good Uncle Joe!

    Why?

    Who profited from that?

Russian people? No, they were victims of Stalin!

So who profited from Bolshevism and Stalin till the end of WWII?

In any case, the lobbies in the West who supported Uncle Joe and did not tell the truth about his crimes to the western audience, were co-responsible for these crimes.

And that is the reason why the western powers became an ally of this criminal.

The criminal Roosevelt, the mass murderer Churchill and the mass murderer Stalin were allies in WWII, and that is the reason why the trial at Nuremberg looked like a Soviet-Stile trial.

BTW, many Brits still love Churchill, who perhaps was responsible for the death of as many people, as Stalin.

So why is it surprising that some Russians love Stalin?

Let's get something straight here guys, Russia and the Soviet Union are two different entities, the same way that Prussia's Germany has nothing to do with the Germany of today. The Soviet Union was an 'internationalist' political system by a German Jew, who did not believe in nation/states, which might have worked fine if it wasn't atheistic too so that it ended up as one great prison.

Because the USSR was international and not national, Russia ceased to exist as a nation from the time Lenin and his foreign financed Bolsheviks toppled the legal regime. Now some logic, since the Soviet Union consisted of all the nations within it, then any guilt under that system, has to fall on all the states collectively since they all had members in the communist party.

As for the Crimea and Eastern and Southern Ukraine, they were stolen from Russia, and as stolen goods they should have been given back when Ukraine broke up from the Soviet Union. But to add injury to insult, the same people who didn't give back the stolen territory, are now killing the people who they stole these land from, because they don't want to lose their subsidies.

Yes, the Soviet Union was more anti-Russian than anti-Ukrainian.

And in the leading elite of the SU there were more Ukrainians (some of them were of Jewish persuasion), than Russians.

Yes, and the Bolsheviks had to become allies of some crazy nationalists, like Ukrainian nationalists, in order to fight the Russians. That is why after the Revolution the Soviets created many artificial republics, like Ukraine and Belarus.

I think that if we look at the ruling elite, then the Ukrainians (including Jewish Ukrainians) were hugely overrepresented in the power structures of the SU.

Kaganovich, Khrushchev, Brezhnev and Gromyko, etc. etc. were Ukrainians.

Yep, the Soviets were afraid of Russians, because Russians were the biggest ethnic group.

That is why they needed the support of minorities, and they were eager to create minorities.

The anti-Christian Bolsheviks and Soviets used the "divide and conquer" policy, that is why they artificially divided the Russians into three ethnic groups, after they artificially created Belarusskaya SSR, Ukrainskaya SSR and Rossiyskaya Federatia.

They are killing the former own citizens who are the native inhabitants of the land.
But most people are ignorant of the history of Russia, that is why they believe that the Separatists in the Ukraine are migrants, like Turks in Germany.
