I've been cussed at. I've been assaulted to the point of requiring stitches. I've been spat at. Nothing that those people in the OP experienced is new to me and it all has happened to me. Plus a lot more. Yet I STILL support peoples Right to Free Speech, even when I don't agree with it or even hate it.

Yes, the requiring of stitches was assault. And I know in today's atmosphere being spit on is considered an assault. The rest of what I described however is not. But like I said, I've gone through everything that those people in the OP went through, (including the "threatening" of being spat on). And I still support Free Speech, even when I don't like it or hate it.

And the people in the OP did not file a complaint. The cops heard about it and went looking for the guy on their own.

IE: You tried to make it out as if I had never been the recipient of such behavior and that if I had been the recipient of such behavior I would change my mind based on my feelings of having gone through such treatment. I HAVE been through such treatment, and my stance on Free Speech is still the same as I have expressed.

 

You can change your mind into anything you want, but it zero to do with free speech.

But what's that got to do with your attempt to make it about me and then finding out that such doesn't work? Like it or not, no crime happened in the OP.
