Republicans And Independents Would Defend America If Invaded — Dems Say They Would Flee

Republicans have already attacked Congress in an effort to overthrow an election. The opposite of patriots.

Your way of presenting your arguments is less than honest, because you suggest all Republicans and Independents would stay and fight, while all Democrats would flee.

However, your poll indicates the number of people who would flee is actually pretty close regardless of party affiliation, but then again, over 50% would obviously flee, since more than 50% of the population are incapable of fighting (women, children and elderly are expected to evacuate).

Either you are being deliberately dishonest, or you are easily played by the media (dailycaller in this case, which is known foe severe bias).

I am independent and I would stay, but absolutely make sure my family evacuates. Also, what kind of margin is 68% to 25%? What does that even mean?

The article refers to another poll (a much bigger one) which says 91.8% Of Americans Would Carry Out ‘Red Dawn’ Style Attacks If The USA Was Invaded. How does that rhyme with your DailyCaller spin/smear-piece? Its not even close.

It must be. Many Republicans can't even be bothered to take the dreaded shot or wear a mask to help out their country. So, why are we supposed to believe that they will fight for it? My guess: Just fake bravado, while Dems are more of realists in those kind of polls.

 

No, some people will believe anything and everything they read in propaganda rags like DailyCaller. They take it for Gospel, and they can't comprehend that such outlets are specifically designed to sow political strife and division.

DailyCaller is the Right-Wing version of the far left outlet Huffington Post, which no one takes seriously.

 

It's hard to say what you would actually do in that situation. I will say this though, I think more democrats would fight then you realize. Look at the riots. BLM and especially Antifa have become pretty efficient in fighting back. You don't have to like it but if we were in a similar situation as Ukraine, they're tactics would be invaluable in making a stand. The only real difference is Russia wouldn't hesitate to open fire on our citizens.

 

In general men fight and women evacuate with the children.

56% of women are Dems, and only 37% are Republicans and in the poll most women say they would evacuate, so that alone throws off the poll, and especially the headline conclusion.

That's not true. You don't think that Niger or Chad is exceptionally bad? I would thing that Russia is exceptionally brutal right now. I think the US is exceptional as do the thousands trying to get into the country by any means necessary or those sending their children alone or trusting them to the cartels.

The discrepancy is easily explained: democrats actually responded to the actual question.
Republicans like the dailycaller and the OP heard "would you defend america if attacked" which is NOT the question.

In truth you don't have a serious Ukranian refugee problem.
Europe is trying to cope with millions and most of the countries are doing a good job.
Except the UK which is in such a mess both ideologically and practically. The country is and should be embarrassed by how it is dealing with the refugees.

Being exceptional depends on your criteria and how you value them. No country can be exceptional in all things.
Every country thinks it is exceptional. Every country has something of value to them and so they should.
It would solve a lot of problems if they all saw the positive things in each other and stopped dissing the things elsewhere that they themselves value because other places don't value them as much.
