TX is now suing the Biden admin to stop abortions even if it is a medical emergency.

Well, I'm surely against any form of travel ban, I however know that there is no way that would not be a breach of a persons constitutional rights. Heck, I even think state supreme courts would through this out befire even getting close to the SCOTUS bench.

The Thomas More Society, a conservative legal organization, is drafting model legislation for state lawmakers that would allow private citizens to sue anyone who helps a resident of a state that has banned abortion from terminating a pregnancy outside of that state. The draft language will borrow from the novel legal strategy behind a Texas abortion ban enacted last year in which private citizens were empowered to enforce the law through civil litigation.

    you were saying?

    This is the real reason.

“Just because you jump across a state line doesn’t mean your home state doesn’t have jurisdiction,” said Peter Breen, vice president and senior counsel for the Thomas More Society. “It’s not a free abortion card when you drive across the state line.”

Why do you keep repeating yourself?
Do you think if you ignore it, it will go away?
You should "cut the crap". I was looking for an intelligent conversation about this, and I did look into it, read numerous articles.
Some of it has already passed legislature in a few states.
But you seem to be ok with it. I have to say "seem" because you didn't really state your opinion on it, just a complete and utter dismissal.
    Thanks for your contribution.

In a television interview over the weekend, South Dakota Gov. Kristi L. Noem (R) left the door open to restricting out-of-state abortions in her state, where a trigger ban took effect as soon as Roe was overturned. The governor, who has called a special session to discuss abortion legislation, said the topic may be debated in South Dakota in the future.

Let's face reality folks, women have to be hear loud and clear in Nov 2022. It's predominately their rights they have lost and they stand to lose more if they don't become single issue voters. Every other issue takes a back seat unless it's voting rights. Nov 2022 is up to American women.

I did read it, just now. They felt the need to protect American citizens. Why is that? It mentions the 14th amendment frequently, but the state legislatures have and are planning legislation that threatens certain freedoms. Did you read the links I posted?
Are you saying that the Republican legislatures in these states didn't pass these laws and aren't planning more?

They’re openly contemplating it. Why should they wait until there is one?

No they can pass a law to outlaw conspiring to leave for an abortion or they can let citizens sue, like in texas.

Now that this is a states right issue, the citizens on South Dakota can vote Noem out of they disagree with her position. How much more Democratic can you get than that?

    that is utter bullcrap

it has always been a state's right issue whether or not the death penalty exists within the state. Some states will permit the murder of the baby while others will not

While other states will allow abortion up to and even after birth abortions.

But hey... You know what... Congress could codify abortion tomorrow with sensible abortion laws that would be bi-partisan. Sure, the vast majority of Republicans would vote against it, but there are ample Republicans who would model most European countries. But they chose not to because they would rather make this a division tool

Where does it say you can make it illegal to conspire to break state law in another state?
With these justices anything not clearly spelled out doesn’t count.
Why does the SD governor think they can?
