Yes lets all vote for Bachman, the hateful bigot that loves to make up facts.

I agree with you except for two.

    Huntsman -- NO.

He's never in the spot light. Several debates later and I still know next to nothing about him...

    Santorum - YES

I think Santorum is playing a different kind of campaign and it's slowly working for him. He seems on the quiet side but he seems to mean well.

Ron Paul doesn't stand a chance. He's far too passive and he shot himself in the foot in the last Iowa Debate with foreign policy. I bet he lost a lot of supporters right there, and even more who we're silently watching him (like myself). In a Paul V. Obama situation.....I think Obama would have it in the bag.

Ha! Conservative by Canada standards probably isn't particularly conservative. But no, I do not keep with details of canadian politics. Not when I am currently on high alert worried about my own government, otherwise I might be more educated.

You know if we didn't have Chinese and Russian aggression, helping enemies and doing things behind our backs Ron Paul would be the perfect candidate but I still don't agree with Ron Paul on foreign policy. We can argue the whole Iranian thing until the cows come home, but I can agree on certian points. Also if you want to get technical I agree it's really been the past 11 years this country has been on a collison course with disaster.

I'll have it my way and say neither one. The one person I really think that is the only presidential option is Chris Kristy. Yet he's not running...

I'm not arguing with you. I merely made a statement and am sticking with it.

There are far more high ranked US colleges than Canadian ones I'm sure.

Of course there are. Even your schools are better. The alphabet is even recite-able there by the age of ten.

The US is the best at everything. Look what they accomplished in Iraq. The oil is flowing again. It's just not going in your direction.

    I wonder why?

Probably because in 2011 we have EXported more oil than we imported. And are you seriously trying to insult our oil?

Yes. I talk to it on a daily basis, blaspheming at least six times a minute.

I'm rather glad it was you who suggested to Obama that he stop the Keystone pipeline on those very grounds you quote.

Nah, I think that oil pipeline is a great idea. Its the kind of thing that stirs up the economy. And hopefully we can take out a few endangered species at the same time

I thought that was the reason it was stopped.

Ah, the benefit of having an education.

No, they are delaying it to make sure they kill as many animals as possible. I mean it would all be a waste if we managed to miss a few!

Mittens vs. Obama: Two empty suits who will say whatever it takes to get elected and then play the good puppet to their special-interest masters. I could see medicine being the big issue here, with Mittens saying "I implemented universal health care that actually worked and wasn't 3,000 pages long"

Newt: He's a greasy slimeball still coasting on his accomplishments from fifteen years ago, but he's more eloquent and articulate without a teleprompter than Obama is with one, he knows the issues inside and out, and he'd curb-stomp Obama in any debate.

Dr. No: because he's right about almost everything and has always been consistent about his core beliefs.

Jon Huntsman: Has the most realistic foreign policy, a good middle ground between "AMERICA, F*CK YEAH!" and "Let's just stick our heads in the sand and pretend that if the rest of the world goes down the drain, we somehow won't be affected". Tax/economic policy is also extremely sensible. Doesn't waste time ranting about evolution or gay marriage. Basically a younger, more realistic Ron Paul.

I have to revise my earlier assessment.
Ron Paul is the only *Republican* that can beat Obama. If he doesn't get the nomination, he'll almost certainly go third party. If that happens, no other Republican can fill that hole and overcome Obama.

The writing is on the wall. The media has only loved MIT forever. You can see that the other candidates are only to beg for money so the GOP can pay the media to make Mit look good.

Hence, the electoral college will elect Mit as president dispite what you all want. He will lose to Obama, but it doen't matter. The electoral college will decide.

If Ron Paul wins the nomination I'll switch my vote and vote for Obuma. No way in hell I'll let that isolationist win.

    Any of them.

All the GOP candidate has to do is keep pounding Obama's record.

Smart like a doctor? Conservative like "the most conservative candidate since 1937"? A republican...now what does that mean cause there are many definitions for that.
