The GOP is running a three ring circus act.

I see a second term for Obama.

In my opinion Rick Santorum. He has been the ultimate underdog the entire republican election and the polls have not swing his way yet and I believe he may do awesome in Iowa.

I still go to Republican party meetings, so does that make me a Republican?

Romney: Yes. He's got the organization and the messaging to do it.

Gingrich: Yes. He's got the contacts, the organization, and the policy chops to manage to win.

Paul: Yes. He's got the organization and a message that can pull a lot of people from the other side of the aisle.

Huntsman: No. He's right for the position on policies, but he's too poorly funded, and lacks anything approximating an organization that could win the presidency. Even if he took New Hampshire, he's not in a position to turn that to success in later states.

Perry: No. He's had his moment in the spotlight, but the country isn't prepared to vote in another person so like Bush. Paul only gets a walk on being a Texan because he's so obviously different from Bush.

Bachmann: Not a chance in hell. She's insane. No advantages whatsoever.

Santorum: No. Insufficient organization and fundraising, plus policies that are way too far to the right to even come close to picking up the independents required to win the presidency. Plus, google his name.

If someone seriously believes that Paul could win the nomination, then beat Obama, that person loses all credibility as far as I'm concerned, even though I agree with much of what Paul says.

People can't honestly think that Paul has a better chance than Romney.

Based on their public service records, Huntsman is more conservitive then Romney and Gingrich.

I dont see how working as an ambassador in the Obama administration is bad, If Petraus or Gates ran for president that wouldnt be a second thought for republicans.

Ron Paul on the other hand is the only person you know what you're paying for. Romney, Ging, ect can scream as loud as they want about being conservitive but their track record says RINO, liberal, lobbyist.

Do republicans even consider the possibility that (gasp!) Obama cannot be beat by any of the members of the republican party? That maybe the core ideals that the republican party stands for are outdated and out of touch with American society?

Yeah.. how dare people be prepared for a debate by having speaking points and phrases written down ahead of time!! Shame on them for being so well prepared.

Problem #1 with the republican party: nothing is good enough for you. If Reagan was running today, you'd bash him as one of those hollywood elitists.

I think Romney is the only one who could potentially beat Obama.

I could see myself voting for Paul or Huntsman.....but if I told you I thought they had a chance, I would be being intellectually dishonest.

Ron Paul could most likely beat Obama if the media got behind him but the chances of him getting that are pretty slim. Romney is more likely to get that media support but it would be close.
