    Men and women becoming husbands and wives and fathers and mothers to their children. NOT discrimination against homosexuals but instead a recognition of the biological requirements of procreation.

    Just like 1984-
    Peace=War
    Love=Hate
    Stopping discrimination against Homosexuals = 'special treatment'

    Indeed. They will likely never do it voluntarily. But ultimately, like with the Civil Rights Act, they will have no choice.

    ???? The principle remains constant no matter the population. Not sure of your point other than you baseless claim, void of even a shred of evidence, that the "Procreation argument means nothing"

    If procreation has anything to with marriage, you are wrong on 2 counts

    1 - there are plenty heterosexual to carry on the human race, about 6.3 billion.

    2 - using procreation as a tool means older people and infertile couples could not wed.

    Quit with this bull(*)(*)(*)(*) of procreation. Its old and been defeated many times over.

    Not sure of your point. Marriage seems to reduce the level of procreation. Blacks in the US have a LOWER rate of marriage and yet a HIGHER rate of births. Single mothers procreate just like married mothers, even more so. And those children born to single mothers have higher rates of poverty, juvenile delinquincy, HS dropouts, teen pregnancy and rates of criminal conviction as an adult.

    That you think ANYONE is arguing that marriage increases procreation just shows you havent even yet comprehended the argument being made. Birth of a child only obligates two people. The woman who gave birth and the man who fathered the child, presumed to be the husband if she is married. Other than them, the child has only the hope that someone would step forward and voluntarily assume that obligation of providing care and support to the child. Encouraging heterosexual couples to marry reduces the number of children born to single mothers and increases the number of children with both the mother and father in the home. Encouraging ANY other type of couple to do so does not accomplish that goal.

    Are you a paid shill from the ProtectMarriage.com? Because you keep repeating the same nonsense of procreation. The fact that a 75 y/o man can marry a 70 y/o woman destroys that argument, You have been told this countless times on this forum, yet you are in chirping the same bull(*)(*)(*)(*) over and over and over...

    So come clean, are you just a paid shill from ProtectMarriage.com? Or Alliance for Marriage?

    Saddened by the pervasive sickness that seems to have gripped a portion of the population

    'Do it our way,or else' disguised as 'diversity'

    Court precedent directly refuting your ignorant logic.

    Anything other than the thoughts bouncing around that head of yours to support your claim?.....I didnt think so.

    And the [IMG] continues....

    Procreation is not a requirement for marriage. If it were, senor citizens and infertile couples could not wed.

    What you call pervasive sickness I call maturation. The way society has treated homosexuals over the millenia is sick and disgusting. Fortunately, we're getting better. Your dinosaur days are over.

    No one gave that to me and my wife when we applied for our marriage license...and your link didn't seem to want to load...I suspect it's not true and is merely a lame attempt at fostering the idea that marriage is only meant to exist for the procreation of offspring. Silly.

    - - - Updated - - -

    You do realize that people aren't required to be married in order to procreate, right? Therefore, the argument that marriage is only an institution revolving around procreation is based on a lie.

    You are the one implying that procreation is the basis behind opposite sex marriage. Your un-sourced quotes do not support your implications. Furthermore, you also fail to provide any rationale for opposing the marriage of homosexuals.
