Bank robbery is a crime. Gays getting married is not.

Of course it does. You are endorsing homosexuality by baking the cake and selling the cake to be used in a gay wedding. It's basically enabling homosexual marriage an idea some are opposed to.

Selling illegal drugs doesn't mean you condone or promote drug use using your logic.

    - - - Updated - - -

Homosexuality is a religious crime (sin) to some.

    1. So every Christian bakery that has baked a cake for someone who is getting married again after a divorce is endorsing divorce and what the Bible defines as adultery, yes?

Selling cakes means you condone people eating cakes.

    2. Then perhaps they should move to a theocratic nation that gives a flying (*)(*)(*)(*) about religious crimes.

I get that those who practice Christianity aren't consistent, but of course there are many denominations that believe in different ideas.

To answer your divorce question. How do you know if someone is divorced? how many people get "divorce cakes"? and who knows if someone did there may be bakers out there that will refuse to sell them.

No one needs to live in a theocracy to hold these ideas, these ideas are protected under the First Amendment... People have the right to practice their religion...

Perhaps if you want to live in a fascist progressive country you can go move to England.

It appears progressives find the idea of forcing people to do something they don't want to do "thrilling"...

Then they deny they force people to do anything.

I also want to make it clear that these bakers aren't refusing to sell cakes to gays, they're only refusing to bake cakes for their weddings......

How do you tell if someone is gay anyway? well unless they're one of those "over the top" flamboyant guys or butch type woman where it's blatantly obvious.

That's a dodge. By selling a mask to a man you know is going to rob a bank, did you enable his robbery? Did you participate in the robbery, were you an accomplice? You know the answer is "yes".

Maybe you should write a script instead and make it into a movie. R-rated.

As if every other group in America doesn't operate in exactly the same fashion. You just don't happen to agree with their objectives. By the way you could try moving into the 2000's no one cares what you do in the privacy of your own home. What we do care about is murdering people who haven't had the good judgement be born yet. What we do care about is being forced to lie to people about sin. It is not okay with me if in your bondage to sin you fall into hell into the bargain. I can't keep you out of hell by locking your butt up so I won't. there are better uses for jail cells.

The dialogue has started in the religious communities. I said that already.

Every sex offender believes in God? Pulled that one out of thin air.

So people of all political and religious persuasions consume porn. What exactly is your point; that it's impossible to regulate because of shared interests? Spare me the hypocrisy horsesheeat. If we can't have an adult conversation about sexual morality because you resent hypocrites we'll never get anywhere. Hypocrites exist. Always have and always will. The Bible repeatedly warns of them, so rebuke from secularists on that basis isn't effective.

    Legislating morality
    Legislating Social Justice
Two sides of a bad coin

We strife for Liberty, freewill, free-choice and free markets. Those that would legislate morality or social justice take that from us in order to implement their destructive pipe-dreams. To hell with both of them.

We demand the Liberty and Freedom that is the foundation of this nation.

When the main argument in my post surrounded net neutrality, I did in fact stay within the current time period (2015-2016), thanks.

Because where there are theist attempts to suppress porn it flourishes instead.

UH why do you suppose Christians are against net neutrality, which they benefit from as much as anyone else?

Going by the GOP platform. The attack on net neutrality is one based on limiting access to child pornography. Never mind the fact that it's already not accessible on the internet that most people use. And in order to limit the access currently, it would require overturning net neutrality. This isn't hard to follow.

I didn't say Christians are against net neutrality. I argued that the Christian right are being used to attack net neutrality.

Sir, how much of the Republican platform do you think will ever be activated. even if Republicans get the whole ball of wax? Both parties have crap in their platforms that are their because some twit somewhere thought it might enhance their chances with this or that voting block. Often things that will never see the light of day once the elections over.

Sure, we saw that with Karl Rove in '04. Doesn't matter, the religious right are catered to with the type of language used in it. Of course anyone who knows anything about the internet would know that you can't get child porn unless you go on say Tor. Plus I'm not concerned about the taking down of child porn, but what they're really wanting from that language. Which is to stop net neutrality. This is a pattern from the Republican party also in that they pushed PIPA and SOPA a few years ago, which luckily failed.
