Well stated. No wonder secular progressives hate the Declaration of Independence so much and want to take down statues of Thomas Jefferson. We want to name a new state after him.

Still as important as September 17,1787 is and as much as it should be a federal holiday too and be directly studied in our schools, July 4, 1776, 247 years ago today is still our nation’s Independence Day.

“done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independance of the United States of America the Twelfth In witness whereof We have hereunto subscribed our Names,”

So, you admit that your god is not mentioned in our Constitution, and that your original claim of our civil rights and liberties being handed down from your god is bogus. Thank you.

The Declaration of Independence lays out the basis on which the nation was founded. It explains INTENT while the Constitution addresses the details.

Odd that the intent didn’t apply to black people or to women — that likely explains why y’all worship these men as supreme beings and quote their words as gospel.

Every United States citizen 18 years old, or older can vote, unless the right was taken away by due process of the law.

Was that the “intent” of the DOI?

Irrelevant. You said the intent wasn't that women and blacks could vote. I pointed out that they can.

18... can vote, can join the military without parental consent... but can't have a beer... it makes no sense.

When I was growing up cigarettes were available from machines on every streetcorner, in every store. Drinking age was 18, 14 if you had cash. (Remember buying a phony draft card?)

Do not lie by putting words in my mouth that I never said. First of all I quoted our nations founding document that makes the claims I mentioned as our God given human rights come from He and his creation of us, not from the best mankind written constitution in human history. Our innate natural human rights given by God predate our constitution by about 6,000 years or so.
Lastly the bottom part of my prior post shows a God mention in the constitution that also proves that we were the United States of America before it was written.

organized christian religions rely upon the religion adopted by roman culture around 325AD, which has no written text of jesus prior to about 300 AD, and there is still debate as to whether Constantine incorporated the gods Saturn and Mythros into christianity, certainly the male dominance of roman culture dominates in many modern christian societies accounting for the inclusion of males in the original version, if you study early per-roman Christianity you will find it much more egalitarian

Christ was born in the Roman era... there is no "pre-Roman Christianity".

the roman empire did not adapt to Christianity until about 300 AD.so there indeed are several hundred years of christianity before its adoption, i have read a great deal about this, there were christians in pompei when vesuvious erupted, and many believed it was "gods wrath" at the time, christian history is very enlightening
and of course i implied pre roman EMPIRE adoption to christianity

The Roman Empire was around before Christ was born. Fact.

let me expain this, as if to a child, romans worshiped many gods including mythros and saturn (those two had many commonalities to christ) there were common solders who became christian before allegedly Constintine saw his vision of the cross in the sky to cause him to convert the empire to christianity....the whole point is we can and have found religious text (christian) that treated men and women as equals, and it is/was the roman empire which was based on male dominance, and it appears Christianity changed to fit the roman culture for anybody willing to research this...and seemingly most if not all european christian countries followed this re-definition of christianity made in 200-300AD

Let me explain this, as if to a megalomaniac. Rome was around before Christ was, so there is no "pre-Roman Christianity".
Oh, wait... "male dominance". I missed the bigoted, "perpetual victim" component of your posts.

there is pre-roman empire converted to christianity, christianity which is a lot different than what our modern organized Christians spout, the is a lot of high placed misinformation, exposing real history in no way makes one a bigot, sir AAR guy before the empire adopted christianity many writings indicate equality of the sexs after the council of Nicea the bible was rewritten and codified leaving the male dominance in and throwing out the equal stuff...all documented and known stuff.....you deny the roman empire was a male dominated world?

Use of phrases like "male dominance"... does.
But I'm more interested in the "post Biden era". May it come as soon as possible.
