Russians have never produced good mariners.

Russians were always wannabe sailors wanting a blue water navy but when they tried the Japanese sunk their navy in 1905.

Today Russians sink their own warships.

    Hilarious, isn't it?

I did the math on his Glorious Leader's personal fortune, and using the most conservative estimate it would take over 4000 years to earn that much money on his salary.

    Now, where were we...

Again. In Russia, there is no and never had aircraft carriers. Russia is the most peaceful country in the world. And if a person is not an idiot, he must understand the difference between an aircraft carrier and a cruiser.
I hope you understand, for example, the difference between "sportscar" and "truck"? Despite the fact that they are both cars.

Did you calculate the state of Putin? Take your research to the Treasury or CIA. None of them has so far been able to find a single dollar of Putin. The rainbow avatar seems to offer you unprecedented advantages. :roflol::roflol::roflol:

Of course it does. Americans are worried about the lack of democracy around the world. Russians are worried about corruption in the USA. What surprises you?

You better pay attention to the fact - who now owns the Kuril Islands and the waters around them. And also note that the Sea of Okhotsk is now the inland sea of Russia. And what are several ships in comparison with this acquisition?
And by the way, note, now and the Crimea has become part of Russia. Therefore, beware of another accident in the Russian ship. Because, following the laws of the universe, in this case, Alaska will return to Russia.

Your poster says that you absolutely do not know the story.
I will teach you basic knowledge of history and geography.

    1. In Czechoslovakia live ethnic Czechs and Slovaks.
    2. The Holocaust is an invention of degenerates and fraudsters. See for yourself. In the second world war, 28 million Russians died - no Holocaust. Also, more than 35 million Chinese have died - no holocaust. Killed several Jews - screaming around the world about the Holocaust.
    3. Once again, in World War II killed over 65 million people only Russians and Chinese. What 40 million you write about?

    Part two.

    1. Crimea became part of Russia after the referendum. According to international law. 1.1 Crimea was autonomy within Ukraine, with the right to withdraw after the referendum. 1.2. In Ukraine, a coup d'état was carried out, according to international law, any territory of Ukraine, including Crimea, had the right to secede from the country where the coup took place.
    2. The war in Chechnya began in 1995. At that time, the bastard Yeltsin was the president of Russia.
    3. According to the EU Commission, Georgia launched a war with Russia. http://www.spiegel.de/international...e-georgia-for-south-ossetia-war-a-650228.html

Maybe you try to increase your level of intelligence?

Yes, an aircraft carrier carries fighter aircraft. Which is exactly what the Kuznetsov does.

It’s an aircraft carrier regardless of the euphemism the Russians use to try and get around the Montreaux Agreement.

I think that is russia was the great and evil threat that the neocons try to convince us of, they would have expanded their aircraft carrier force, given the US depends upon ours as the world's police. Of course, that police primarily protects american banking and business interests, and not so much any national security of the American People. If you want to wage war, you need aircraft carriers, and more than just one or two.

Actually, I was way off with the figure I cited.

Using the low end estimate and dividing it by his current salary, it would take your Dear Leader 374,332 years and 6 months to amass his personal fortune.

Using the high end estimate, it would take him over a million years to amass such a fortune -1,069,518 years and 9 months to be precise.

But you're sitting there bleating and babbling about corruption in - wait for it - America.

    :roflol: :roflol: :roflol: :roflol: :roflol:

Hey - you might want to clean up that mess in your own back yard BEFORE you start yapping about other people's yards. Be sure to pass that message on to your handlers in Olgino, too.

Oh....how exactly will Alaska return to Russia?

It was purchased legally for your information....back in 1867....for 7.2 mln$$$$ or about 2 cents an acre.....there is an official receipt. Or are you suggesting it was "swindled".

Is there an ethnic vatnik population claiming "oppression"...and need saving?

And if it doesn't return to Muscovites?? What then....little green men appear in the streets of Anchorage, Fairbanks, and stage "referendum" like in Crimea, with no international monitors, and 110%+ voter turnout?

You claim everything happens by will of Putinka??? Does that include your hemmoroids? ROFL.

Russia has never needed to be the great naval power it has never been and perhaps never will be to pose a threat to the political and territorial sovereignty of other nations. As the Georgians, Ukrainians and people who lived in the nations that were subjected to Soviet occupation and domination during the latter part of the 20th Century can tell you, all Russia needs to be is a land power.

That aside, there are many practical reasons why Russia has never been a great naval power. It lacks the capabilities and resources that the United States has, and unlike America and the British Empire that once ruled it, Russia has never been a global economic superpower that needed to project power around the world to protect its economic interests and the interests of its allies and trading partners. Fortunately for Russia, other practical reasons, such as its size and geographic location, have made it possible for Russia to content itself with being a land power instead of a sea power or a land and sea power.

Bottom line, if you want to wage war or even pose a "great and evil threat" (to use your own words) to other nations you do not necessarily need multiple aircraft carriers, and Russia is arguably the most notable example of this.

Cargo ships also carry planes. Are they your aircraft carriers too? According to your logic, if a ship transports coal, it means that it is not a ship, but a mine.

Exactly which cargo ships carry, launch, and recover fighter aircraft?

But they would need the treasure to wage a war of conquest...in regards to western europe, right? MAD is off the table so we are talking of being able to muster something even greater than Nazi Germany did in ww2, right? And take on the same allied forces as Germany did, right?

And there would be a build up militarily prior to the endeavor, right? So, does russia meet the requirements today? Do they appear to be doing this? Not that I can tell, nor anyone else, IMO.

Here is what research on the Russian Navy brings up. In fact, if you research any part of their military it will look much the same. Out of date and in poor repair.

"The Russian Navy has 79 ships of frigate size and larger, including one aircraft carrier, five cruisers, 13 destroyers, and 52 submarines. With the exception of a handful of attack and cruise missile submarines, virtually all of the Russian Navy’s combatants were built during the Cold War. Underfunded for decades, the Russian Navy faces chronic readiness problems. Large Russian ships such as the carrier Admiral Kuznetzov and the Pacific Fleet flagship Varyag are frequently accompanied by tugboats on extended voyages. It is unknown how many of the aging ships are actually seaworthy, and of those, how many are combat effective."

LOL - I'd be willing to bet that there are as many Russians who are worried about corruption in the USA as there are Americans who are worried about the lack of democracy around the world:
