Pro-Trump republicans have shrugged off the brutal mob attack against hundreds of Capitol police officers - 5 died (4 suicides) and they didn't bat an eye. They sided with the criminals even though we all know they always side with the cops when they are beating and killing black and brown and poor people.

Trump pilfered 2.4 MILLION dollars from his own supporters. Some of them skipped meals and scrimped to send him all they could afford (and he took more). He had his staff ignore their complaints. A judge had to force him to refund their money he took without authorization.

People in pro-Trump counties are dying of COVID at 3x the rate in other counties. He got the best healthcare at one of the best hospitals in the world while cheating on his taxes and they get to die alone in hospitals due to COVID restrictions.

I believe you all should consider one possibility and that is that Putin is a genius.

There is no question that he is the most evil person on the face of this earth. Additionally, many people, including me, believe that he may have lost his mind. He is engaging in an endeavor which harming Russia more than it can ever possibly help him.

However, let's look at the other possibility. Putin is not losing his mind and knows exactly what he is doing. He has convinced the rest of the world that he is close to going nuclear. That possibility has brought our response almost to a standstill. We are afraid to do anything because it might send him over the edge. As a result our hands are tied. I would love to declare the Ukraine a no fly zone and use NATO aircraft to enforce it. However, our fear of Putin's state of mind prevents us from doing it. As bad as Russia is getting beat up, there is little reason from Putin completely occupying and controlling the Ukraine.

I obviously disagree with Trump on Putin, especially considering the ethnic cleansing he's attempting of Ukrainians. If he somehow militarily succeeds in Ukraine, he most definitely will come after a NATO country next. I'd rather deal with him in the Ukrainian theater and send his forces back to Moscow.
