Russia under Putin massed its military on the border of a sovereign nation launched an invasion -- a war of conquest. That is a crime against peace.
Russia is already paying for it. Putin will eventually pay for it.

I see your point, but your point misses the point of the title, because title implies the fact that Trump is praising an evil man, by referring to him as a 'genius'.

Killing children isn't 'genius', by any reasonable standard.

Inventing the atomic bomb, is, which is an evil device.

Do you see the difference?

What I find amusing is the bizarre length you will go to defend an evil man, and I'm referring to Trump, not Putin.

Given that Trump, when hours ago photographs produced which are incontrovertible evidence of Putin's war crimes, a situation which beckons for the Putin-admiring Trump to go on TV and immediately renounce Putin, he has failed to do it, and by that omission, it is reasonable to conclude Trump still believes Putin is a 'genius', given that is the descriptor Trump recently ascribed to Putin, which is all that the headline suggests (as opposed to what you think it does). Also note that the headline is contingent upon 'at this juncture it is a reasonable conclusion', as Trump still may renounce Putin, and I would like to see an apology made to the American public, as well, which I doubt he will do.

I also would like to see an apology from you for your accusation of me being a classless liar, as you've not supplied any evidence of it.

The photographs reveal incontrovertible evidence of war crimes, injured pregnant women, blood stained mattresses, maternity ward in shambles, not an isolated missile, but the entire facility in shambles, indicating deliberate, prolonged and willful destruction. The death count has yet to be reported, not to mention children are dying for the deliberate shutting down of water supplies.

And, this, done hours ago, not one word from Trump expressing his shock, dismay and renunciation of his buddy, Putin.

 

You might have an ounce if you explain the reasoning for your claim.

In Trump's case, it most certainly does, as it is recorded fact he has heaped praise on Putin, time after time, so it is reasonable to conclude Trump is heaping praise on Putin for calling him a 'genius'.

I can really cut to the chase here and point out that in the fullness of time, all of the brazen lies being told by the kremlin and then being parroted by russian media, chinese media and a number of whacked-out, angry, ill-informed, arrogant, ignorant, unpatriotic, treacherous right wingers in the USA will be debunked, one after the other.

The whackadoodles are now claiming that the Ukrainians blew up their own hospital and that the one pregnant woman filmed being carried out of the rubble was a "crisis actor".

The whackadoodles (including, of course because why the hell not, Hannity and Tucker) are also claiming that we, the USA, are creating bio weapons in labs in the Ukraine. That is by far, to date, the most perfide lie of all of them, especially considering the fact that in the documents from 1991 and 1994, it was established that the USA and its allies would monitor the former soviet labs and dismantle any dangerous bio weapons, which we did in Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tadzikistan and in the Ukraine.

While I agree that you should not get to .. the fact remains that you do get to .. or .. at least the US does .. as they do it all the time .. even during non war times .. targeted drone assassinations .. you name it. Atrocity 100 times that of anything Russia has done thus far.. So what I am calling out is the hypocrisy of the Media Clownshow and associated political/bureaucratic pundits.

 

The civilian deaths inflicted by Russia's bombing isn't collateral damage, it's intentional damage. It's part and parcel of Russia's strategy to attack the civilian population. It's what they did in Syria as well.

I'll await your apology since trump never said anything about putin being a genius for bombing children. You lied about that and called it an "omission" but we all know what you did.

There are a couple of guidelines that are relevant.

1) Know your enemy. Again, that is acknowledging that Putin is intelligent regardless of his evil intentions.

2) Never underestimate your enemy. Calling Putin a genius is saying he an adversary worth fearing.

I can add a third which appears to be necessary. Don't be afraid to state the first two even though they might be intentionally misinterpreted.

All that said, I believe Putin really blew it. He underestimated the Ukrainian's resolve and overestimated his own army's ability.
