Rick Santorum wants to put an end to the distribution of pornography in the United States. "America is suffering a pandemic of harm from pornography," Santorum's official website reads. "Pornography is toxic to marriages and relationships. It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking." The former Pennsylvania senator states that, "as a parent, I am concerned about the widespread distribution of illegal obscene pornography and its profound effects on our culture." If he doesn't like porn, no one is forcing him to watch it. He should back off and let people live their lives, and if that means allowing them to watch porn in the privacy of their own homes, so be it.
Is this guy for real? Banning porn? I'm sorry but Santorum is a tyrant in training and has no place in our government at all. Honestly what gives him the right to decide if people should be "allowed" to watch porn or not? People who complain the most about pornography are undoubtedly the ones that watch it the most. I bet he's complaining because he pays for it, not knowing that there are plenty of places on the Internet where you can download it for free.
