The asswhooping of a lifetime is about to begin. Normally, the SCOTUS would never take up a case so frivolous and flawed, as the court's docket is usually reserved for those cases that couldn't be resolved at the federal level. But this case is extraordinarily different.

Not merely because it pertains to the Presidential ballots, but because this is the first time since the Civil War that the States tried to take a power that exclusively lies with the Federal Government(the 14th can only be invoked by the federal government). And every federal court but one(Colorado) agrees.

Let me spoiler warning: The SCOTUS will overturn Colorado. Of this, I have no doubt. This SCOTUS has historically backed Federalism, and is so inclined to do so here. The only question is, what will the tally of the score be?

It should be 9-0. But it could be any one of the majority numbers: 8-1, 7-2 or 6-3. I think the law is way too clear for a 5-4 decision.

But my question to the 4 stooges of Colorado, the Maine nitwit and the Federalist Society: How does it feel to join the argument of the Confederates? How does it feel to go against the government while claiming to save it?

    Gorsuch hasn't....

    SNIP
"As then-Judge Gorsuch recognized in Hassan, it is 'a state's legitimate interest in protecting the integrity and practical functioning of the political process' that 'permits it to exclude from the ballot candidates who are constitutionally prohibited from assuming office,'" the state opinion reads.
    ENDSNIP

I'm calling it 5-4 for putting P01135809 back on the ballot ... Gorsuch is generally a hypocrite, and will vote in the majority. Roberts will be the 4th dissent.

    You got that right.

I love seeing all these post about the president is an officer of the country, this is a presidential qualification amendment, Secretary of State doesn't have to abide by the constitution, no conviction is necessary,
    and blah blah blah.

These armchair posting justices are going to be eating a s*** ton of crow.
I can't wait to hear the excuses when its going to be 9-0 or 8-1.
And I only offer 8-1 for the liberal idiot who can't explain what a woman is. They already made this decision.

What these armchair justices haven't figured out yet is
    1. The SCOTUS already kicked this idiotic idea to the curb just like 13 other states back in October
    2. The left was never much for history. If they were they would have known the the original 14th, prior to ratification, removed the president and vice president from section 3 because they were convinced that no confederate could ever get enough votes to even worry about it.

Using an old civil war section that was created to stop confederates from becoming officers in the US government shows just how far these leftist will go to dream up these imaginary claims just to interfere in elections.

Obviously, that is Trump's worst case scenario...
5-4 in his favor (Thomas, Alito, and Trump's 3 Stooges at a bare minimum)....

Just pretend that all the liberals are not cheering for it and that so many liberal states are not trying to interfere in the election again

Need to hold the people who attempted to block him accountable as well, should at min be removed from office.

So who argues this case for Colorado? Do the Colorado justices have to make it?

They'll hire somebody with experience arguing in front of the SCOTUS who believes Colorado is correct.

    Won't be hard to find....

Here are the hoops a person has to jump through in order to argue a case before the SC. I doubt very many lawyers are out there who went through the process, and even less lawyers willing to take the risk of a 9-0 case, especially when other courts have banned removing Trump from the ballot.

I see people are putting down predictions for the SCOTUS ruling, so I'll put mine in: 7-2 for Trump.

    Dozens...

Much like Trump criminal lawyers (daily), who doesn't want to take up arguing for a long shot against the odds, while getting paid big bucks??
