Whatever. History is history. You may not like it but that is how it is. We now have stand your ground laws that aren't going anywhere. It is good that citizens have the right to self defense.

George got off because, since the victim was dead. . . there remained (in the eyes of most of the jury) a "REASONABLE DOUBT" about his guilt. . . and that was enough to get a "not guilty" verdict. ..NOT because he proved his innocence, but because there was, for some jury, a reasonable doubt.

Tea party and some Republicans seem to empathize with the killer.

Well, far right wing conservatives are to blame for the destruction of the Republican Party. It's sad to see good and decent Republicans have their party hijacked by extreme conservative racists. They can thank Nixon and Reagan for that. The southern strategy ended up destroying the Republican Party in the long run. How sad.

 

Destroyed? LOL! You see, political parties are never "destroyed". They come to power in a cyclical fashion. Another thing history teaches us. The dems are on a downslide thanks to the radical liberal progressives. Racial hoaxes and socialism is hurting them badly.

Just like in the Zimmerman case the trayvon supporters were easily defeated by logic and common sense. They would also claim future victories which never came to be. In the end they were reduced to silence and tears. I have proven to be be correct on many occassions. Good luck with your "last laugh".
