Not seeing you being able to dispute it You did no such thing, when dragging in her book sells worse than a cook book published 8 years earlier than her own.
Some act as though racism is the biggest problem in the world. It isn't. Nor is "anti racism" the highest value.
If someone has ANY position on the New York Times Best Seller list, they are not just some "fart" on some "blog."
Years ago primarily in the South the rule of thumb was one drop of Negro blood and you are a Negro. That once be the rule.
It was metaphorical. No reasonable person would have thought otherwise. If you think he meant it literally, then you think like the people who illegally entered the Capitol and the tiny minority of that group that committed violence. Don't be like them.
He said to go have a trial by combat. And a "metaphorical" trial by combat. Yeah... now THAT was on people's mind! sure, dude, sure. lol
Yes, he literally wanted Trump's supporters -- all of them -- to get some war axes, maces, and kill Capitol policmen. Exactly. At 11.55 a.m. ET, the former New York mayor took to Twitter to condemn the violence "in the strongest terms." "The violence at the Capitol was shameful. It was as criminal as the rioting and looting this summer which was not condemned strongly enough by the Left. This violence is condemned in the strongest terms. Our movement values respect for law and order and for the Police," the tweet read.
Not if we value democracy. Too many intolerant people in this country that seem more into authoritarianism or totalitarianism than democracy. Intolerance is the bane of democracy but is a requisite for authoritarianism or totalitarianism.
I'm sorry. But it's not relevant that he condemned it after all hell broke lose. He told people to go have a trial by combat, and got paid by Trump. Trump who yelled at them to go fight like hell. Your initial point that a trial by combat "was metaphorical." remains false.
Yes, but they aren't all on the right. We aren't taking about whether there was a riot, or at least I wasn't -- there was a riot. We are talking about Giuliani's meaning and intent, or at least I was. Lawyers fight in the judicial arena. Courtroom trials take the place of actual physical combat. Lawyers are by definition not partial to physical fights. Otherwise they wouldn't be lawyers. Giuliani is a lawyer. His immediate and expected condemnation of the riot makes his state of mind clear. He was horrified by it. With all that, if you still believe he wanted physical combat, well, people believe all sorts of things.
Oh sure, sure. Lawyers fight in a judicial arena. Totally agree. Lawyers however do not do "trials by combat" in the judicial arena. So that's where you're going wrong. And a guy like Giuliani is very aware that he did not have his speech in a judicial arena in front of the folks you would expect to understand his lingo. He knew he stood for an angry crowed who got spoon-fed that the elections were rigged for months on end. And you causally go wrong there as well. And he is a lawyer, who indeed who go straight for inserting to claim he is innocent. That's his job.
Medi, ehh? He's quite the idiot. MEHDI HASAN CAN’T DO HIS JOB IF PEOPLE ARE GOING TO KEEP POINTING OUT THAT HE’S LYING: Here is this blithering idiot on gun violence: So the Black on Black murder rate is actually 5 times higher, demolishing this lying clown's point. So, he's a good fit for Lying Fake News MSNBC that operates as part of the propaganda wing of the DNC and the Deep State. And he's a segregationist too? Figures.
Let's make sure we are communicating here: This guy claimed that the murder rate is same for white on white as black on black and then chided society in general for not being as focused on white on white murder and black on black. Black on black murder is actually 5 times higher on a proportional basis than white on white. I pointed that out, and called him out for being a lying propagandist. Who do you see as inadequately concerned about black murder victims?
Yeah... somewhere at the start one, and than Trump changed his story with "I'd fight. So I'd fight, they'd fight, I'd fight, they'd fight. Pop pop." He certainly meant using fists with that pop pop and not words. He said fight like 20 times. While his supporters were chanting back to "Take the Capitol," "Taking the Capitol right now," "Invade the Capitol," "Storm the Capitol" and "Fight for Trump" And at the end Trump yelled back "And we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore." And off they went with a clear message.
