Yes, isn't that somewhat of a paradox?
On the one hand you want to select someone because she will be the first African American woman, but on the other hand claim there's really no way to tell a woman from a man, or that a man can be a woman if he simply wants to be and feels like it.

This is a situation where two of their beliefs come into conflict with one another.
An ideological inconstancy.

It would be interesting if there was an African American man up for the nomination too and he decided to try to compete to get the spot by putting on a dress and lipstick and saying he is trying to identify as a woman now.

If a trans man-to-woman can't be the first woman to fill an office, then what does that tell us about the way the Left actually views these people?

He didn't say that he had not made up his mind, you have not shown he started with a list EXCLUSIVELY of women and especially a list of women of just one race.

I don't recall that happening. With kavanaugh there is an attempt to accuse him without any support at all of some sort of criminal behavior. But that was proven multiple times to be false.

With Amy Coney Barrett it seems the only thing people had against her was bigotry toward Catholics.

The Bar wouldn’t even rate him. Barrett received a qualified rating while Jackson received a highly qualified rating.

Barrett refused to answer even basic constitutional questions including if a US president could delay an election and if armed individuals should be allowed to intimidate voters at polling places. That’s a special breed of fascist.

so qualification is based on bar rating, so an absolute Nazi you could be a supreme Court Justice in your mind and be perfectly qualified for it as long as he had a good bar rating.

Jackson refused to define what a woman is? When you finally meet someone with this either means she is corrupt or stupid. I don't care what her bar rating is if she's too stupid or too corrupt to define what a woman is she is not qualified.

I am saying this was planned. I doubt they started with a list of only black women — she had been chosen prior to his election. They just decided to promote it.

 

I agree .. Brown was chosen because of her sex and skin color and many other qualified judges were not considered

BUT

Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barret were chosen because of there political leanings and many other judges were not considered

Brown , being a freshman judge, will not have any standing or power in the court for many years

so the haters have no reason to worry their tiny little heads about a black woman on the bench

the court is still a 6-3 split....my guess is Brown will only have dissenting opinions for a long time
