Yep. Just a meathead in a costume with a gun and a badge shooting a gun in the neighborhood. There was no reason to kill somebody's pet because they got off the leash.
One of the good things about the Senate getting involved in 9/11 investigation is the ability to bring the violence of society to the forefront. Obviously, 9/11 was a tragic event and the cover-up even more tragic because instead of stopping the guilty parties, they have been allowed to perpetuate the violence. There is nothing wrong with a peaceful voluntary society. The cop shooting the dog is just another example of us accepting violence rather than allowing a more peaceful approach to the world.
So, without knowing the exact details of the call or what you lead up to it, you believe you have all the facts to make an honest conclusion, right? I bet your parents are proud the rocket scientist they raised. What's the matter, flunk out of the Police Academy? Oh, and the office didn't shoot the dog, that was CGI. The dog died as a result of a controlled demolition. Prove me wrong.
The cop had his gun drawn long before the dog came at him. He intended to kill the dog because the dog was running loose in front of his owner's house while she was at work. It was a good excuse for the man in costume with a badge and gun to practice his shooting skills and not be reprimanded for it.
The idiot mutt stepped of the approaching car to block the way. Sorry, but you are not allowed to post vicious animals on the street to keep officials from their duties. The cur needed a bullet. The owner needs to get a life.
you seem to be under the very childish & failed impression, that the United States military is perfect. Freud would have some very interesting explanations for this one. It stems from the very early belief that one's parents are perfect. We all have this as children but most of us grow out of it.
Actually it comes from the realization that if 19 men can come to America, hijack airplanes using boxcutters, and fly one of them into the headquarters of the most expensive and powerful military the world has ever known, then that is the definition of failure. If they can't even protect themselves, how are they protecting me? They're not. They don't even care about me.
we had no operational plan of how to deal with multiple hijacked commercial airlines hijacked inside the USA, used as missiles. we, are not perfect. We sometimes screw up.
