Did I say black people were supposed to get a business for free? I'm just showing how specifically the white elite who inherited riches obtained it through apartheid rule and oppression. Do deal with facts.

Oh, so now you don't believe that people have the right to sell or give away their money, goods, or property to those they choose?

Too bad for you that you couldn't have lived in the days of the Soviet Union... you would have fit right in!

You like "facts", notme? For a start, the United States has never (NEVER) had "apartheid". You're thinking about the Union of South Africa, a long time ago....

Now, tell us all how it's "oppression" against anyone if some rich American dude gives money to his children. And, please, do make it 'factual'... OK...?

And you still have no evidence whatsoever that trump or any money he made came from apartheid rule.
Just post it already since you made the claim.

The dude went to college without any kind of real competition due to apartheid. And his father forged his real estate empire without any real competition due to apartheid, which Donald inherited. You claiming there is no evidence, is just you denying who earned what during the Jim Crow era.

The 'dude' probably took an entrance exam like everyone else, or do you know better?

And you're still parroting this 'apartheid' nonsense? All you're doing is making yourself look silly and ridiculous.

Fact: we've all been EQUAL BEFORE THE LAW in the United States for 56 years! Time for people to look in the MIRROR to see who is REALLY holding them back if they can't 'make it' today.

The separate but "equal" during the Jim Crow era was anything but equal.
It was full fletched apartheid. Get over it already.

The oppression is that black people were categorically denied such opportunities to systematically benefit the white people be able to do that.

For him. While black people were given 2nd rated education during them days to deliberately make it near to impossible for them to pass such an exam. Rather dishonest to leave that out.

Donald whent to college before that.

Donald Trump was nowhere near being my 'favorite' president. That said, his going to college, or inheriting money from his father is not related in anyway to your claims of "apartheid" or the oppression of anybody.

Again -- (but you're not listening) -- all of that old "Jim Crow" crap and the segregation (not "apartheid") ended (ENDED -- ENDED), finally and forever in 1965 -- FIFTY-SIX YEARS AGO! But because so many Blacks claim they can't 'make it' in today's totally integrated American society, you think they need to be given another nice, big, fat handout -- "reparations" -- on top of all the "Affirmative Action", the government 'hiring preferences, and the special set-aside government contracts that ONLY minority-owned companies can even bid on...?!

I will agree that the non-Black population of this country is a lot more dumbed-down, ignorant, and easily-manipulated than Americans ever used to be, but even today, in 2021, most of us are not STOOPID enough to think that Blacks or anyone else should be given anything that is not given to ALL of us....

If any of us is more-equal-than-others ON THE BASIS OF RACE, the United States is truly DEAD!

do you have any idea how funny it's going to be when you google "apartheid" and realize that didn't happen in the US?

The COVID virus pandemic is not the most dangerous, destructive thing in the United States today -- no!

The greatest danger threatening America today is IGNORANCE! Toxic, smothering, incurable IGNORANCE -- and it has spread faster and with more enduring effect than a simple biological 'virus' ever could.

After reading some of the totally inane crap that appears in these Forum threads, and realizing that many people actually BELIEVE some of the completely unfounded, ignorant nonsense they write, it's impossible to have much hope that the United States will survive this much condensed, wide-spread STOOPIDITY in even a minority of our citizens.... :spin:

It's all about segregation and economic discrimination, and that is what went on in the US. In no way was it equal but separated. Total joke. And it only shows you're part of the problem when you dispute this.

so, there WAS no apartheid in the US as you claimed but OTHER people are the problem? Can you hear us back there in 1950? Doesn't matter. No one is taking money from non-slave owners to give to non-slaves but that'll always bring a chuckle.

Donald started his college years in 1964, that was before the end of the apartheid era. And so he was able to achieve that because of his skin color. His father was able to achieve his things, also because of his skin color. It's directly related. You saying it's not lacks a counter argument / are shunning my argument.

That Jim Crow crap is exactly how apartheid works. You are just belittling this dishonestly.

The previous president and the current president profited personally from being 1st class citizens, where others were oppressed to be 2nd class. You can say all you want how long it has been. Them people are still ALIVE!! The deliberate lack of opportunity and the poverty that it caused to all black people was to purely help out all the white people. It is giving the new generation a massive head start and that "Affirmative Action" only helps a tiny amount while apartheid was inflicted on all. It doesn't put a dent in how white people were able to profit.

The richest people like Trump forged their economic empires because they directly profited 1st hand because they are white.
I fail to see why they don't own up on that.

There was apartheid in the US till 1965 when the Jim Crow laws ended.
Black children had to be protected when going to a normal public school to get the same kind of education.
Such things were not possible before 1965.

That epic child who you find being protecting going to highschool....
very much alive, and traumatized from all the death threats she got as a little girl.

    Well...

I have convinced you of nothing. And, because of assumptions that you use as the platform for your beliefs, you have convinced me of nothing. You dwell on old wrongs that existed in this country long ago, and like so many on the Left, you continue to obsess on Donald Trump. Trump will never be president again -- calm yourself, and find someone else to focus your dislike on. It's wasted now on Trump.

All I can tell you, very truthfully, is that I'm an 'old guy' who marched in the streets FOR Civil Rights back in the 60's -- when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was still alive. We young, white college kids were horrified and appalled at the very idea that anyone, of ANY skin color, should be treated in an UNEQUAL way by the government(s) within the United States.

We were relieved and very happy when the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 became the permanent law of the land, and we felt vindicated that our protests supporting the EQUALITY of all our citizens was, at last, going to be honored and upheld by the law. Our struggles continued on, against the Vietnam War, which was terrible for Whites and Blacks, but that's a different topic....

Still, in your mind, even though we all did become fully equal, all those long years ago, it solved nothing of consequence. So, I have convinced you of nothing, and you cannot convince me that "reparations" or any similar scam is fair, or that such a scheme reflects anything that is fair, just, or EQUAL in the American people.

What I will suggest to you in parting here is, if you think non-Black Americans are 'racist', just WAIT until the Russians and Chinese project insuperable, commanding power throughout the entire world, notme. Oh, it's coming -- and it's coming more swiftly than I had thought possible just a few years ago. If you are younger than about forty years old, you will experience what's coming, and you WON'T like it!

    I voted no

no one alive was a slave or a slave owner, every American black or white is just as responsible for slavery in the past, as it's America's past, which is all of our past

that said, help those that need help regardless of the color of their skin...
