Youn don't see the failure of government induced markets and mandates as hilarious? This is what I would like to call an "I told ya so" thread. Oh, and we also find it funny when people call OWS's private property vandalism and destruction as "slight". http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=/&gl=US#/watch?v=OODuhQ1p6qA

I see you have a reading comprehension problem. Is that what I said? Was I saying that vandalism was funny or did I describe the dismissive apologetic characterization of "slight property damage" by OWS as alluded to by you as funny? Because theres nothing slight about it.

    Book my ass, you're a Googler.

I think that's quite complex though. There are many things affecting the stats. The other reports I read say SUVs are more prone to rolling over. They also give high fatalities for rollover accidents. And SUVs are more prone to single car accidents.

They seem to provoke a lower level of driver care because people think they are safer and drive less defensively. I find the reports quite tricky to analyse. One guy in Wiki says something like SUV drivers give up large amounts of stopping distance because they think there is nothing they can do in an accident. I don't understand his comments. All I can say is that driving a Land Rover made me a much more careful driver than driving 2 Alfa Romeos did. In a Land Rover, you know it takes longer to do everything and in particular I used to allow much more time to stop and therefore much longer stopping distances. This has carried on to subsequent cars. I'm really not comfortable in a car with a driver who doesn't leave adequate stopping distance even now.

Democrats took control of both Houses of Congress on Jan 3 2007 and held control until Jan 3 2011.

IF what you say is true,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,WHY didn't the Democrats, "so concerned with their fellow man," FIX the Republican mistake???? If what you say is true?
WHAT DID the Democrats do since 2007? Other than increase the national debt by $5.7 TRILLION. A NUMBER HIGHER THAN THE TOTAL AMASSED BY PRESIDENTS G. WASHINGTON THROUGH W.J. CLINTON! 212 years, beat in 4 years.

Smart Cars are made by Mercedes Benz, they are a product for urban environs and fit their niche well. The one I sat in had more room in the front seat than the jaguar type s I was currently driving. You can buy your Ford (god knows I bought a few) and drive to LA at 14 mpg then try to find parking, or you can be intelligent and drive a vehicle like this and save about $1500 per year in gas alone, not to mention car payments and repair, both of which are vastly better than any Ford pictured. If your job requires a truck then drive a truck and I won't call you a name, but if a person wishes to drive a perfectly safe frugal vehicle and save the extra money for his childs education or some other worthy venture I see no reason to criticize them.

    Huh.

Religious right wingers taking joy in the destruction of property and grave injury.

Interesting. Does god condone these actions?

What is funny on this thread is to the same people posting, that a crowd of black people shoplifting at a 7/11 is the END OF CIVILIZATION, but the pictures of some white guys standing by vandalized car is simply "humorous".

Back in the old days, when the VW bug came out, what was FUNNY was not to vandalize the cars, but to place them in the dark of night, in perfect shape, on a 2nd story balcony or some such place.
