    Don't get me wrong.Real Cowboys are the salt of the earth.
    THE best of Americans.No question at all about that.
    Roy Rogers was a Great American.Real cowboys are totally honest
    and upfront.The first to use a Good Samaritan rule { Help those in need at the
    side of a road,stranded }.
    There's a reason Bing Crosby Forced his son Gary to spent a couple summers
    on a Cattle Ranch doing cowboy duty.Very hard and long days.Even sleeping
    under the stars most night,when out on the prairie.To make a man of him.To
    learn hard work and not even dare whine about it.To learn how to grin and bear it.
    To learn real truth and discipline.
    Yessiree Bob ... a Cowboy is about The best kinda person an American can ever
    hope to bump into.Even in a Roadhouse.

    I do understand you feeling a need to pull the shades down and lock the doors. If anyone should ever see you with that bridge all fired up, just say 'damn yankees' as loud as you can.

    I got a statue of Big Tex ready to fire up myself. lol

    Speaking of Big Tex, did they get that rebuilt before the next fair? What a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing shame that was and just knowing you were there to see him explode in flames and burn all the way down to his boxers was too much.

    Absolutely... my framed light up picture of the Brooklyn Bridge is right next to my 4 ft replica of the Empire State Building with King Kong climbing up the side. (Made totally of popsicle sticks... a gift from my yankee friend Vinnie).

    Sometimes I get so homesick for yankeeland, I hire someone to mug me on the train.

    Yes, Big Tex has risen from the ashes... in fact, he rose last year. Hard to keep a good man down. ;)

    Man you're sitting on a wheel of fortune right there. Last one sold, I think it was in Paris, for a 2lb wheel of brie and a 2014 bottle of Sparkling French water.

    I would have gave them 3lbs of Fontina and a bottle of Carlo Rossi.

    Is yours for sale by any chance?

    Seriously, how long ago was it that Tex caught fire? I thought it wasn't even a year yet. Did they redo him the same? I hope so. I mean new technology and all but he still looks the same and talks the same right?

    They're not much of a problem in the parts of Minnesota and South Dakota I've lived in so far (that's a lot of Minnesota and Sioux Falls, SD, specifically). Tornadoes tend to be more of a problem farther to the south.

    You do realize Roy Rogers was a singer and actor, he was born and raised in Cincinati if I recall correctly. I was a big Roy Rogers fan back in the day

    Yeah but farther south folks don't have to worry about 8 ft of snow every winter, so its a tradeoff!
