HA! Your story is better than mine. We strung popcorn and put them on the bushes outside. Well, you know how that story ends. In her defense, mom told us not to!

Started to move into my shed. Set my chop saw on the little table I made and bolted it down with tap con bolts. I need to build a taller table for it. Too far to bend over. I started working on a chevron pattern on the shed wall. Well anyway, I set the saw up to cut my 45s and they kept coming up different lengths. So I measured each one at a time. This automatically threw my next row off and I had to measure each one in that row. So I finally got my level out and run a plumb line up my next row of studs and cut them to fit. Somewhere around this point I discovered the problem. I had brought my chop saw level bit didn't continue the guide past the saw. It was level but now straight guide. This meant my boards going in catywampus sometimes... A straight board for backing and problem solved. Now I cut one and the rest cut the same and they fit much better. The corner I came off of was plumb so it drove me nuts. Rookie mistake...That being said, it is beginning to look pretty good. A little sawdust and glue to hide the mistakes and go. Live and learn.

I've just proved the old adage.
''No job is so bad you can't just walk away from it''.

    No big drama really.
I haven't enjoyed working there from the start. After 6 weeks I still wasn't so when I was told ''If you don't like it you know what you can do'' I did what I knew I could.

On the plus side I can spend Christmas with my family now (so long as I pass a few covid tests).

I don't have to but I've been working in a busy pub so there's a chance I could infect my frail mother. The tests are for my piece of mind.

Cody our Border Collie watches over the robotic vacuum cleaner, when it gets hung up on something he will give it a nudge with his nose. The dog is so amazing how fast he picks up on stuff. He can read body language better than some people and now he is reading the robotic vacuum's actions.

That right there is a salami sandwich abomination. Its also safe on the plate lol.
White bread with no crust. Mayonnaise and to make it as far away from Genoa as possible....Velveta cheese.
Now Im really super sorry I ate that salami sandwich on you.
