Getting about tired of people and their damn loose dogs.

Went to walk my dog on a leash on one block here comes a loose Pitbull. The owners come out and call the dog with no apology of course.

On the next block here comes a damn Chihuahua, running directly up to my dog trying to bite him.

And my dog's leash is about as thick as a horse lead and 10 ft long, I keep the excess wrapped up in one hand and walk him on a normal length of leash.

Now where I have the handle knotted up at, I keep that for my dog gets to rowdy I can smack his ass.

Well that's stupid Chihuahua decided he was just going to run up and start biting. So I smacked the hell out of it with the other end of the rope.

It Yelped once and high-tailed it back to its own yard. Bet the damn thing leaves us alone next time.

I guess I need to start carrying my bull whip in my other hand. Now granted that would be overkill for a Chihuahua, I'd just kick it and roll it.

But a bullwhip will keep a pitbull off you.

Now I kind of feel like a bully because I whipped the Chihuahua, but I'll be damned if I'll just let the damn thing run up to us and start chewing on my dog.

My father had a chihuahua. It was a bloody menace to take for a walk. Even on a leash it would try to **** or fight any dog he met.
Napoleon syndrome is strong in them.

Like I said the next one will be better. It will be joined better with more color contrast. I would like to go with a very lite and very dark wood in maybe a chevron pattern. .....It gives my retired butt something to do.

Never had to use it in the end.
I just got pissed off with drunks shouting in my face on the way home from work.
I haven't worked in the city for years now though so it gathers dust...

I did give myself a black eye with a yo-yo once though.
    Time for tighter regulations.
    Sensible yo-yo controls.

When Cable or Fiber linemen have to go in back alleys behind city housing units, quite often homeowners, for reasons only known to them, will let their dogs out while looking the linemen right in the eye.

While dogs will be dogs, the influence of the owners plays a part. There is something called a bell wrench that most linemen carry. It is extremely effective for those dogs who feel they need to attack. upload_2021-12-13_8-33-5.png

I'll give you kudos for owning up, lol. I've given myself a fat lip when trying to yank up the bed covers on a chilly morning and my hand slipped off.

The string jammed as I was ''looping'' and it rebounded right in my face.
This was on Taunton high street too.
    Plenty of witnesses.

Little son of a b**** thought he was Rambo until I smacked him with that rope.

Took the fight right out of him.

I guess you have to have a bit of an attitude when your job is going down rat holes.

We have bobcats roaming the area.. they will take care of any loose pets. They are the most effective animal control vector we have.

Oh yeah.. I wouldn't swing them around but in the 70s, when they became a "thing" saw plenty of MA goofs whack themselves.. kinda funny when they were swinging them around trying to be intimidating.

Im listening to Christmas music and started laughing thinking about when one of my SIL's had this idea that we all should get together and make ornaments out of flour and water or something like that. We made them and then we baked them and hung them on the tree. We leave the room and when we were leaving to go home we noticed that the dog ate the ones he could reach. lol I made a baby Jesus in a manger and the dog ate half of it. Baby Jesus was a double limb amputee that year.
